Location: Near Richmond, Virginia. This would be a great opportunity if you have family in the area or just want to explore central Virginia.
Available: Starting now and ongoing until late spring.
Duties: Mom and Dad were avid RVers chasing bluegrass festivals around the region. Now our mom is in need of support around the house including meal prep, running errands, organizing and light housekeeping and maintenance.
Hours: RV/TT/Van site in exchange for 15 hours a week for a single female (preferred) or 20 hrs for a couple.
Site: 30 amp electric service, water, wifi (with booster) and laundry. Gray water trickle ok. Free dump station 15 minutes away. This property is 3/4 of an acre in a subdivision at the end of a cul-de-sac with a paved driveway.
Requirements: Current flu shot and Covid vaccination. No insurance restricted dog breeds (you can google search).
Enjoy the quiet of private property in the suburbs less than a half hour from vibrant historic downtown Richmond, hiking and biking trails, and river activities. We will be happy to send more pictures if you want.
Cleaning/Maintenance on the Big Island, Hawaii

Caretaker couple needed to work year-round doing hospitality cleaning and repair/maintenance on vacation rentals in the heart of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Who are we?
We are a family operated small and growing vacation rental business in Kona, Hawaii. We strive to create beautiful unique spaces and provide guests with clean and comfortable rentals. We are building a close knit team where the atmosphere is friendly, fun, and casual, but the work still gets carried out to the highest of standards.
What are we looking for?
Housekeeping services and repair/maintenance of properties (a total of 5 homes with multiple units). All of the properties are located close by.
Responsibilities include:
- Turning over houses and smaller units between guests on a daily basis
- Routine deep cleaning of the properties
- Regular maintenance tasks to ensure the properties are in excellent condition
- Repairs such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and tile
- Basic appliance repair
This is a year round position working alongside the owners and another caretaker couple who take care of guest interactions and property management.
We also ask that you:
- Have active communication via our management phone app to view schedule and tasks daily
- Can legally work in the US
- Be able to provide references from past employers
- Have a valid driver's license

Compensation
Compensation includes housing in a quaint and renovated tiny house with an outdoor kitchen and shower located at one of the properties, as well as a work vehicle.
All cleaning fees will be passed on directly to you. The exact amount varies based on the property. In 2023, the cleaning fees totaled $65k.
Repair and maintenance compensation based on experience.
Schedule
There is no set schedule, as work load depends on the guest calendar and what needs to be done on a given day. Cleanings may be required 7 days a week, with occasional long days as well as days with no cleans. Repair schedule is flexible, but also based on the guest calendar and occasional emergency repairs. There is plenty of work but also plenty of time to enjoy the island.
Commitment
Initial commitment of one year, with a 2 week trial period. We are looking for someone who ideally wants to grow with us long term.

Relief Houseparents - Raleigh, NC

Christian Life Home serves young women in unplanned pregnancies, providing housing, food, clothing, counseling by our staff Counselor, classes, life-skills training and much more in a Christian family environment. Programs include a Non-residential Program, Maternity Home, Mother & Baby Home, and Independent Living Program.
Christian Life Home is seeking a married Christian couple as Relief Houseparents in a Christian, family style Maternity Home and Mother & Baby Home. It is a full time position for a couple. Both must be 24 years or older and licensing does not allow a couple in this position to have children with them. Couple is required to work 16-23 24-hour days a month, so we are seeking a couple with a flexible schedule since days on-duty varies month to month, but calendars are planned 2-3 months in advance. While on-duty you have your own bedroom and bathroom within the homes. Salary range is 40-50K per year. This position requires the ability to serve others in ministry through hospitality, ability to live/work together in community, work under supervision of director, plus basic discipleship, communication and problem solving skills. Most importantly this position requires a couple who has a desire to minister to young women, young men and their families who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.

Our desire is to have a Married Christian Couple for the Relief Houseparent position to serve in both homes, but during the interim, we are seeking a Single Christian Woman as Relief Housemom at the Maternity Home and /or Mother & Baby Home. Applicants must be 24 years or older.
The part-time position would be required to work 8-12 days (24 hour periods) per month in the Maternity Home or Mother & Baby Home, attend a Weekly Team Meeting, and spend a few additional evenings per month with the Primary Houseparents on-duty.
The full-time position would be required to work 16-24 days (24 hour periods) per month in the Maternity Home and Mother & Baby Home, attend a Weekly Team Meeting, and spend a few additional evenings per month with the Primary Houseparents on-duty.
We are seeking a woman with a flexible schedule, since days on-duty may fluctuate month to month, with calendars planned 2-3 months in advance. While on-duty you have your own bedroom and bathroom within the home. This position requires the ability to serve others in ministry through hospitality, ability to live/work together in community, work under supervision of Director, plus basic discipleship, communication and problem solving skills.
