Hands on Live In Domestic Couple - Fairfield County , CT

The home is operated similar to a "small boutique hotel."
Home owners travel often and require the couple to care for their 2 dogs while they are away.
The duties are traditional;
- Inside - Cleaning, laundry, shopping etc. Light cooking is required
- Outside - Garden, lawn and pool upkeep, light handy work, occasional driving
Schedule is Mon – Friday 8am – 5pm with occasional weekend coverage
Separate semi private fully furnished apartment provided.
The ideal couple will be detail orientated, have 10+ year’s experience and a service mentality.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for a live-in custodian(s). The position is ideal for someone semi-retired, with limited or some income, a retired couple or someone who has a part-time job. Person must be a non-smoker. (The job duties will be outlined during the interview process.) The position reports directly to the Facilities Manager. Sorry, no pets; NO SMOKING.

· Able to lift about 35 lbs on the high end.
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
· Somewhat flexible schedule: about 15-25+ hours a week
· Mostly after hours, definitely weekends and Holidays likely
· Compensation shall be a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchenette in a beautiful historic home built in the late 60's. Utilities will also be paid for.
· Start date: approximately mid- September

The property is approximately 220 acres, quite lovely and at times can feel quite remote. We are on the outskirts of town, 3 miles down a dirt road. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation for all seasons.

We need someone who is computer proficient, and understands basic programs such as Microsoft Office. We are open 7 days a week, from 9:30am-6:00pm . Some weekend and holiday work hours are required. Due to the nature of this position, all property managers must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to arrive at their assigned location on time and ready to work.
Please note, housing is NOT provided for this role. This is a Non-Resident Property Manager position.

Property Caretakers - Hot Springs, NC

Located in the beautiful Mountains of Western North Carolina approximately 1 hour NW of Asheville in a very private setting, we have 272 acres of forest, pasture, barns and beautiful land offering privacy and an outstanding lifestyle.
We are looking for a couple that enjoys hard work, and exhibits pride in their work. The job will entail weedeating, garden chores, orchard work, taking care of 3 horses, 2 dogs, 4 cats and chcikens when the Owner is away. Wood splitting and general mainteance and repairs to the property as needed including equipment.
General Housework, cleaning and potentially occassionaly assisting the Owner with hosting guests that can range from 2-15, which would optimally involve meal preparation, serving and clean-up.
The Spring and Summer months can be challenging with increased weedeating and general mainteanance of the property, but the reverse is the winter months can be much more relaxed, and we are receptive to you staying on site year round or only working seasonally, March through November.
We do have a home located about 2 miles away from the main house that could potentially be used as your residence. It is a large 3 BR 2 BA, 3000 square foot home in excellent condition.

The Lots of Love for Animals cat sanctuary at 4000 feet is nestled in the foothills of the Hualapai Mountains. Our year-round temperatures run 10-12 degrees cooler than surrounding areas. During the winter months there is always a dusting of snow that lasts no more than a day. Roads to the sanctuary are rough dirt roads as are found in most rural areas in Mohave County.
LOLA (Lots Of Love for Animals) currenty houses about 172 cats. There are also dogs on the fenced five acre sanctuary location, but the dogs are usually pets of the owner or sanctuary employees. Prospective couples' pets are welcome.
LOLA is looking for a hardworking, responsible, and committed couple who are physically fit enough to do the labor needed for cleaning cat boxes, washing walls and floors, washing cat linens, etc. The work week consists of five days, with a week day & a weekend day off.
This is a work in exchange for housing, utilities, cable, internet, & phone with a small monthy stipend.
