Small Farm Manager/Housekeeping Couple - Berry, New South Wales

We need a couple to live in their own house on the 50 acrs property that requires farm management (20 steers only) and housekeeping of main house which is a holiday house used occassionally. So role would include moving cattle from paddock to paddock, feeding chooks, gardening, lawn mowing and cleaning main house.

We are a small Hot Spring Resort located in the mountains of rural Idaho seeking an on-site management /caretaking couple (or highly capable individual) for Long Term Year Round or possibly split Winter OR Summer Season with 2 couples on rotation. We are looking for responsible, friendly, mature, hard working, & motivated couples who appreciate complex systems and are looking to build a long term relationship with this special slice of Paradise. 

OVERVIEW:

 Trinity Hot Springs in Paradise is renowned for it's unique water coming from the deepest & purest known source of Spring Water on Earth! We honor this sacred resource and run the resort as a private community club where everyone is invited to share in respect and responsible stewardship of such resources. We are a new club (open May 2016) after the Paradise Lodge and pool had been closed to the public for over 25 years though the history of the hot spring pool goes back to 1912 and we have many visitors that remember learning how to swim in our pool 50, 60, 70+ years ago. We also have an international fan club of Trinity Springs Water devotees who know the famous bottled water (that has not been available for a decade) and come for the benefits of the certified “Naturliches Heilwasser”–the International standard for the highest rated 'Healing Spring Waters'.  We have a rich history and foundation to grow from as we develop the property into a holistic wellness retreat and community resource.   

This is a place where you can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as you complete tasks and projects that help people experience this healing water.  We have many projects and much potential to develop out of the property while we maintain operations with great service, cleanliness, order, and grounds maintenance.

We are located in a remote area of rural Idaho between Pine and Featherville near the Anderson Reservoir.  Search ‘Paradise Hot Springs’ on Google Maps – Off HWY 20 Between Mountain Home and Sun Valley. The area has year round recreation and is a destination for Boating, Water Skiing, Fishing, Camping, Hunting, Snowmobiling, and Hot Springs!  Applicants should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable in this type of setting as well as have some experience with outdoor recreation, wilderness and emergency safety.

DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Management of the Resort

Guest Operations:

-Customer Service; relations with current, returning, & sometimes disgruntled guests. 
-Reservations Management; booking reservations and taking payments.  
-Housekeeping; Room & Cabin Cleaning, Laundry + laundry room upkeep. 
-Security; Site Security, Rule Enforcement, Event Management.

Property Operations: 
-Water; Temperature, Pressures, & Pump monitoring.  
-Maintenance; Systems & Upkeep of the Facilities. 
-Cleaning; Pool plus both internal and external of common areas and grounds, etc.  
-Groundskeeping; Landscape maintenance, weed control, lawn & campgrounds.
-Manage Winter Snowfall (Driveways are plowed by snow removal service)
-Monitor and Security for 17 acre property 

Communications: 
-Maintain Informed Communication with Management/Owner.  
-Gracefully Troubleshoot issues and requests.
-Guide & Work Together with Staff for Cohesion & Synergy.
-Manage Subcontractor Relationships
-Manage Volunteer Service Brigade Crews and Events.

(Part Time Staff come in various times throughout the week and on weekends to support some of the above duties including Housekeeping, Front Desk, Reservations/Admin, Groundskeeping, Security, Event Coordination.)

COMPENSATION:

In addition to monthly stipend (DOE) Caretaker will reside on the resort property in their privately-owned RV or one of ours (Spring-Fall) And/Or in a room with a bathroom with access to Lodge Kitchen & Amenities + Laundry facility on property. Also Included is all utilities including the famous Geothermal Trinity Spring Water on tap, electricity, and internet service. Plus many (but not all) meals are communal and provided for. Unique (non-standard but meaningful) benefits and bonuses to be discussed with strong candidates.

Looking for part-time manager/maintenance couple for operation of a Mobile Home Community in Mundelein, Illinois. Basic to advance handyman skills. Flexible hours. Compensation dependent on experience. Bi-lingual Spanish and English a plus. 

Work Campers- Retired Couple for Hosts - Waterton Park, AB

We are looking for a retired couple as campground hosts, to each volunteer to work 15 hours per week, in exchange for a full serviced site which includes the use of the laundry facilities. We require hosts as soon as possible through September 30, 2017 preferably but we are open to taking hosts on a weekly or monthly basis.

We are an RV park located 5.6 kilometers east of Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta along the beautiful Canadian Rockies. We are also, an International Peace Park with Glacier National Park located in Montana.

Some of the work involved is lawn maintenance, cleaning of washrooms, and general maintenance work when required. Also, when needed, you would be required to register customers and provide them with information of things to do in the area. Because we are located near a National park, we get many international travelers, photographers, hikers, golfers and fisherman.

On your off hours there are a lot of places in the area to explore and things to do. If you love to hike, fish and play golf this is the place to be.
