For our cruising season (April, 10th – September,30th 2018) We are looking for a happy, hardworking couple fort he jobs of hostess (full time) and first mate (2 weeks on/2 weeks off) The both of you are fluent in English and as a hostess you have experience in the restaurant industry. Your daily jobs will consist of helping with breakfast and dinner, daily cleaning of (13) cabins, restaurant etc. and laundry service. One of you will welcome the guests back on board and some evenings you will entertain at the bar. As a first mate you also keep the outside of the ship tidy, assist in the locks, with mooring, and do some small maintenance. Besides a good salary we offer free board.

WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Us: A small mom and pop resort with restaurant and mobile home park. We are located 15 miles from the resort town of Hayward on Wisconsin’s largest wilderness lake. (The Chippewa Flowage – 140 islands, 240 miles of shoreline and only 15% developed) We have been operating this resort for over 20 years and are looking to free up some of our time during the season May – mid October. Our restaurant is known for breakfast and has a good following. In the evenings we offer frozen pizza (and deep fried food depending on business levels). On Monday nights Memorial day through mid August we have $1 burgers. Fridays all season we have our fish fry at night. Both of these have a good following, serving anywhere form 30 to 100 depending on time of year. Breakfast levels will be 25 to 75 depending on day of week. From mid June to mid August is our busiest time of the season (and weekends all season). We are closed on Wednesdays.
You: Have restaurant experience and are physically capable of handling some long days. You are able to provide great customer service while offering a quality product. Optional – managerial aspirations or desire to eventually lease restaurant.
The Job: You would be helping us by bartending, waiting tables, cooking, washing dishes, cabin cleaning. Bartending would be 5 nights/week while offering pizza and deep fried food so at times it would require both of you to be there (or for sure to be on call). Bar closes by 10pm most nights. In the mornings one person would be needed to back up the waitress (or for sure to be on call).
Ideally: We would like to see a couple develop into our jobs so they can hire their jobs or lease restaurant completely the following year; though are ok with a couple that just wants to work for a season. Potential also exist for working the winter season (Christmas to the 2nd week in March – limited hours and days)
Benefits: The tips are nice for the Bartender and the person serving deep fried food at night. You will be provided your own two bedroom mobile home with $150 utility credit every month. Home is provided mid April through October with option to extend further. As a couple you will receive $22,000 for this 22 week season. Use of Resort boat and amenities.
You also become part of the R&R family. We take care of each other. We would see that you have off some Tuesday and Wednesdays (though on call Tuesdays mornings would be required of one of you during peak times). Wednesdays are always a day off.

Live On Site Hotel Managers - 2 people - Old Orchard Beach, ME

We are a 70 + unit property with several different buildings, on the ocean in Old Orchard Beach, Maine open from May to September, that employs 12-18 desk clerks, housekeepers, etc. We seek two people that will work all aspects of the business and manage employees, guests, buildings.
This is a high volume business that requires 24/7 attention during the high season (late June to end of August). Position is year round, but property open only during summer season. You will be living on site,and will work/lead in all areas of business operations. We cater to many French Canadians so some French language skills are a plus.
Candidates must have minimum 3-5 years PRIOR SUCCESSFUL HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE.
Starting base compensation is $40K/couple, plus a 2 bedroom apartment on the beach, and performance based bonus/commission package.
Housing includes cable TV, wifi, local telephone, utilities, you are required to be flexible with your schedule. You will be required to work every day in peak season and holidays according to guest traffic. We will do our best to schedule time off in slower season.

Responsibilities will include full housecleaning, all family laundry, assistance with meal preparation, cooking and washing dishes, as well as assistance with serving when they entertain, about once a week. They also require overall maintenance and care of home. Able to provide normal care of HVAC, home technology, electrical, plumbing, appliances and oversight of outside contractors when necessary.
They will require some small handyman projects, replacing light bulbs and keeping extras stocked; automobile cleanliness; and some assistance with transportation and light errands. The right candidates must be child-friendly and willing to help with childcare during the week as needed, as well as most Saturday evenings. Knowledge of a kosher home a plus, but they are willing to train the right candidates. The family spends most of their summer at a beach house, so summer is a time for deep household cleaning.
