House Parent(s) - Atlanta, GA

We are seeking Live-In individuals or married couples to work as House Parents to create a family style setting for up to 4 siblings reunited for adoptive preparedness. (*If married, one spouse has to be identified to solely work as the House Parent).

Being a house parent is more of a mission/calling than your occupation. While on duty, this is a 24-hour a day responsibility, just like being a parent to your own children. You must have an innate concern for the wellbeing of children and youth.

Applicants will have to complete the Georgia home study process. Applicants must have a valid Georgia driver’s license, High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience(preferably at least one year) in dealing with children and adolescents. Must be at least 25 years of age, (if applicable) and if married a minimum of two years unless approved by program manager.

The ideal candidate(s) must be able to handle high stress; be well organized, have PC related skills, a direct and factual communication style; must be able to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities during the day; ability to related to a wide variety of individuals and be able to work as part of a team with all providers and state agency partners.

One is for a full time cook and the other is cir a camp host/cashier.

Motel Managers - Riverside County, CA

We are seeking a hardworking, mature married couple to manage a family owned motel in Riverside County, Greater Los Angeles Area.  The ideal couple will have experience in hotel/inn keeping management

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee staff and daily operations

• Guest services and reservations

• Overseeing Maintenance-painting, plumbing, electrical and grounds keeping

• Providing communication and reports

We are looking for a couple who enjoy meeting and serving other people and making a difference in the lives of others. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills is required.

Compensation includes negotiable salary with incentive bonuses in addition to an onsite apartment with internet and utilities included.

cook/camp host/cashier - Shelter Cove, CA

We have two positions open immediately.  

One is for a Cook and the other is for a Camp Host/Cashier.  Both positions are between 35 and 40 hours a week each.

Support the camping ministry by providing Christian hospitality through helping prepare meals and assisting with camp activities, including basic maintenance, housekeeping, program areas, and office tasks. Searching for couple to join our exsisting team.

JOB DUTIES:

• Participate in training event(s) prior to camp and continuing education during camp
• Assist with preparation of meals and clean up
• Support camp logistics and provide a consistent quality for routine activities like mealtimes with campers, snacks, cabin/shower house cleanup, coordinating special events
• Organize, lead, and/or assist with camp activities, including lifeguarding (per certification)
• Help with camp clean-up/housekeeping after campers depart from camp

 
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: 

• Oregon State Food Handler’s Permit
• Certification in CPR and First Aid (American Red Cross or equivalent)
• Minimally 18 years of age or high school graduate
• Current Lifeguarding Certification (desired)

 
DETAILS:

• Tentative 2018 Employment Dates: June 11-August 27
• $2,750 compensation ($275/week), including full room and board.  (Returning Staff $300/week)
