Workcamper 2019 - Canon City, CO

Seasonal position from April 22, 2019 to Oct 1,2019 Volunteering couple will work (4 shifts -5.5 to 6hrs each) couples will work same shifts, working front desk, escorting guests to site, office, bathhouse cleaning, light grounds keeping and site cleaning after guests exit.

Workcamper gets full hookup 50-amp site with concrete pad and first $100.00 of electric per month. This is a volunteer non-paid position.

Our resort is a 40-site family owned facility. Located west of Canon City, Colorado elevation 6300’. Very relaxing and quiet. We are a great location to venture out and see Colorado’s beauty on your days off.

Experience is not a requirement. Applicants must be able to perform above listed chores and be in reasonable physical condition.

RANCH CARETAKER(S) ON BEAUTIFUL GRANDE RONDE RIVER IN EASTERN WASHINGTON STATE - Asotin, WA

We (private large ranch owners) are looking for a person or couple that has a good work ethic and a desire to succeed. Ample opportunity for more responsibility/higher salary can be easily attained for the right fit. You would live in your own, like-new three-bedroom home and take care of ranch buildings and fields. Hopefully, you love the great outdoors and truly enjoy watching things grow. Vineyard and/or Ag experience is a plus.

This is a very special job that requires physical labor such as planting crops, maintaining and moving irrigation equipment on 15 acres of wildlife plots; overseeing, caring for and harvesting 12 acres of grapes; mowing lawns on a riding mower, and maintaining a private road. If you're a couple, one member could be in charge of the infrequent internal housekeeping, garden-tending, and dog-watching and would be paid additionally on an hourly basis. To do a great job, you need to be a self-starter because you're in charge of a large section of an even larger ranch.  You will be working mostly by yourself under the supervision of a ranch manager who lives on another section (two hours away from this property) where our cattle graze.  

A team mentality helps a lot. The ranch is an hour from the nearest towns of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington.  Hunting, fishing and land management for the benefit of wildlife habitat are top priorities for our little piece of paradise.  We often travel and your job requires you to be on premise, especially during peak fishing and hunting seasons when trespassers must be kept at bay. You should be comfortable with a restful environment. City-lovers need not apply.
