Job Duties include:

• Registering guests for overnight camping
• Collecting user fees
• Directing guests to activities within the park

Work Camper couple -various duties - Fremont, IN

Make a difference by helping families families create lasting memories during our 53rd season! Immediate openings in the maintenance/ranger department and the store for the remainder of the 2018 season which ends October 14th.

Compensation for 40 hours per week, per person, includes: pay for every hour worked and a free full hookup site including electricity. You will also receive 25% off discount for propane and purchases in the store and Cafe.

Residential House Parents - Omaha, NE

Looking for a skilled, enthusiastic married couple to join a team of dynamic individuals to provide excellent residential care for high-risk youth. As a faith-based non-profit organization, Release Ministries is dedicated to offering hope to marginalized teens and families. Currently,  we are  seeking House Parents to live in and provide trauma-informed parenting to residents, oversee the residential home, and provide day-to-day programming, treatment, and guidance for residents.

Overview Our mission is offering hope, the opportunity for growth, and practical tools to effect change for teens, children, and families. Our focus is creating a culture for them that includes trust, forgiveness, and accountability. We do this by providing highly skilled and quality residential care in the context of meaningful relationships within a family-style living environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operation of the house
• Mentor residents
• Teach life skills and model healthy family relationships
• Intentionally develop positive relationships with residents
• Interview prospective residents
• Assist residents in their pursuit of educational and vocational goals
• Maintain house finances, including balancing the budget and billing for residents
• Participate in weekly staffing meetings with the residential team
• Communicate with caseworkers, teachers, probation officers and/or therapists to coordinate the schedule and treatment of each resident
• Plan and implement programming opportunities for residents, both in the home and in the community
• Administer medication to residents as prescribed
• Assisting in crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Assisting in the development and implementation of residents’ individualized treatment plans
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• Age 21 or older
• Married Couple
• Strong character and ability to pass extensive background checks
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid driver's license (with a clean driving record)
• Enjoys working with teenagers
• Willing to live at the Release Ministries Home
• Has minimal evening commitments
• Demonstrates values of community, honesty, respect, accountability, and responsibility.
• Demonstrates conflict mediation and good interpersonal relationship skills
• Strong adherence to the values and mission of Release Ministries
• Must have the capacity to learn and utilize word processors and online document sharing

Resident Managers (Two Person Team) - Timmins, ON

We’re growing!! And looking for two detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Resident Managers (Two Person Team) located in Timmins, ON. This is an ideal FULL-TIME; live in opportunity!

Duties include:

• Apartment building management through rent collection.
• Expense management.
• Strong office administration and customer service.
• Maintenance & cleaning.
• Conduct and/or supervise all on-site activity in accordance with the specifications of Skyline and in line with all applicable legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Qualifications:

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
• Good maintenance and cleaning skills.
• General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• Knowledgeable with repair and general maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented.
• Good judgment and innovation.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs.
• PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).
• Previous sales experience an asset.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or 5 years work related experience.
• Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants required.
• Experienced in sales or related field.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in Ontario and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.
