Asst. Manager & Front Desk Reception - Williams, CA

We are currently seeking individuals and/or a couple to fill the roles of Assistant Manager & Front Desk Reception. Both positions are year round, full time and are for immediate hire. The individuals/couple must enjoy working in a quiet, peaceful environment with a small handful of other colleagues and residents. Experience living and working “off the grid” and/or a remote environment is beneficial but not mandatory. The successful candidate(s) have an open mind and willingness to embrace this lifestyle.
Assistant Manager:Assists the General Managers to manage the day-to-day running and to ensure guest well-being, employee guidance and maintenance of the overall property. The large majority of the work day will be spent supporting and managing the Front Desk operations.
Some attributes to be successful in this position include, and are not limited to:
· Willingness to understand and support management policies
· Ability to direct others and ensure their level of understanding of the tasks required
· Flexibility concerning work times and the nature of the work one may be required to do
· A general attitude of “ we can accomplish this” and “ we can work this out”
· A willingness to assist in what is needed, regardless of what is happening “ the beds must be made, the phones must be answered”
· An understanding that this position is a position of guidance, coaching and counseling
Front Desk Reception: Assists with answering telephone & email inquiries, checking guests in/out, cashiering and more. Must be strong in multi-tasking and enjoy social interaction.
The job assignments we currently have available involve varying levels of knowledge and responsibility. We do our best to assign people to the areas of their greatest ability and preference to the extent that we can based on anticipated business needs.

**POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED** The Eskimo Village Farm was originally created as 2 acres of organically grown produce and vegetables. It continues to feed the community. However, after 30 years the previous owners have sold the Farm to a mainland retiree who is creating a Grace-based community there. This is about neither religion nor a given belief system, but instead simply a santuary for those seeking to practice the quality of Grace. Maui is a place where such healing centers flourish.
The compound has 5 buildings including one dedicated for the couple we select -- fully remodeled with kitchen, bath, bedroom etc. The position includes both accomodations & utiliies along with a $15 rate of pay for hours accumulated beyond work/share exchange. The perfect candidates would have prevous experience and are interested in a long-term arrangement. Moreover, we encourage candidates from other non-US backgrounds. The Farm is co-owned by a Filipina so Tagalog is spoken frequently.
Duties on the Farm will be based on the skillsets you have to offer. We will add additional help as needed by bringing in others. However, this is primarly a caretaking/stewardship role. Domestic abilities (cooking and cleaning) are helpful as well as high degree of either handyman & maintenance abilities and/or landscaping experience.
We operate on the philosophy of a shared home. Each resident has equality relating to the use and enjoyment of the property. However, everyone -- even ownership -- must contribute each and every day. The Eskimo Village Farm is located on one of the most precious spots on Maui. The views are spectacular and the grounds are exquisitely beautiful. We seek those who have a unique color palette so they can begin adding their brushstrokes to our Village canvas.
Store & Deli - Jenner, CA

We are a Store and Deli, on the beautiful Sonoma Coast in California. We are looking for a couple to run our Mom and Pop general store/deli. 5 days per week (40 hours per week, per person guaranteed).
You must be hardworking, dependable, honest, NO drugs, like people, have great customer service skills, food handling, self-starter and be motivated. Must be able to work at a fast pace and maintain all aspects of running a store including stocking shelves and multi-tasking. Position begins immediately. We have a level RV site (under 30 feet) with full hookups, plus an hourly wage for all hours worked. COUPLES ONLY, no singles, must be self-sufficient, NO VANS. This is a long term position and couple must be ok with splitting shifts when needed.
Caretaker/Housekeeper on Family Estate - - Harding Township, NJ

The position would include a caretaker & executive housekeeper.
The general tasks for the caretaker would include:

- taking care and tidying up after a few farm animals
- all handyman tasks on the estate
- general property management
For the executive housekeeper, the tasks would be
- managing part time house cleaners and staff
- meal planning and cooking
- household errands and organizing
- wardrobe maintenance, ironing, laundry
-helping at family parties
- driving family children if necessary
- back up babysitting (we have a nanny)

- must be 18, legally authorized to work in US, have some domestic experience, valid drivers license and clean record, submit to background check

Volunteer Camp Hosts Needed - Roseberg, OR
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Hello, We have one spot open at our beautiful campground on the Roseburg Oregon Bureau of Land Management District.
We are looking for friendly, organized hosts that can greet campers, clean bathrooms and campsites, and perform other light duties to upkeep the campground like stocking brochures and leaf-blowing parking spurs. We prefer hosts that have good communication and teamwork skills. In return, we offer full hookups and a small subsistence payment.
Summer conditions are clear and warm with hiking, fishing and other recreational opportunities nearby. The Susan Creek Campground is maintained throughout the camping season by two host couples, so teamwork is critical. Susan Creek does have some online reservations sites and the rest are open for walk ups. This is perhaps are busiest and certainly one of the most popular of our campgrounds.
The summer season will end in late October, hosts must be able to pass a background investigation which the BLM pays for. I will need a resume and some references to call. I hope to hear from you!
