Looking for a couple that would be interested to work and live on a 65 acre farm. The farm work includes: care for animals including alpacas, chickens, a few cattle and sheep. The farm is primarily an alpaca farm.
The land is beautiful and its upkeep is essential but not difficult--maily lawn care and landscaping. Every year a garden is planted with herbs and vegetables. Its products are not sold but shared amongst all who live on the farm. The owners of the farm live on the farm in the main house and there is a beautiful restored cabin with kitchen, living room, loft, bathroom that will be the couples living quarters. The cabin, all utilities, satellite, health insurance, salary, and farm truck are made available to the couple. The family owners of the farm treat their employees with respect and kindness. the most improtant rule on the farm is SAFETY FIRST.

We're looking for a talented couple that can care for a dozen horses while maintaining the farm. Owners are out of the country for extended periods of time and are in need of a dedicated team that strives for excellence in horse care while maintaining the farm with great pride.
The couple that we are looking for needs to have experience caring for horses along with being able to operate various types of farm equipment including tractors, haybine, stackliner, baler, skid steer, mowers, etc. One or both members of the couple would need to have the knowledge to do basic equipment maintenance such as changing air filters, changing oil and general care of machinery. Positions would be year-round with the busiest time being the summer months. Year round care is to be provided to the horses; lawns mowed, weeding, tree trimming, painting and like tasks would be added to the list of things to do in the summer. The 1/4 section farm has its field in hay production and so July (more or less) is also haying season. Once the hay was in the shed, the couple would then be responsible for selling the hay to the customers that come to the farm to pick up...no deliveries are made. Winters are a bit quieter but there are still things to do such as keeping the driveway plowed, doing daily walkthrough of all farm buildings to ensure that mechanicals are operating smoothly and dealing with our very unpredictable weather.
Along with a salary, commensurate with the couple's experience, Alberta Blue Cross and WCB, a three bedroom mobile home would be provided to live in. All utilities, satellite t.v. and internet would be included. While a couple is being sought to fill the positions, given that the farm is situated close to schools and community association, a family would be welcome.
Resident Beach Hosts - Destin, FL

Come work with our Rangers to keep our day use area safe, clean and inviting for visitors. This position is demanding, working in the hot sun, but in a beautiful setting working at the beach. 2 days on and 4 days off, alternating with other hosts.
You must be able to work in hot, sunny weather, use a gas-powered leaf blower and be able to operate an all-wheel drive vehicle or ATV. Position is 20 hrs/wk, campsite with water and electrical is available. Dump station is available nearby.

This is a live-in opportunity for a working couple The position is primarily for the hotel, but does cross into two other properties all within a two mile radius. We are looking for a quality minded couple who can work in a team environment as well as independently.
Position 1 - Description
Holiday Isles Resort Madeira Beach, FL Holiday Isles is a small, but busy, 29 room hotel. We are pet friendly, so if you are allergic to pets, this will not be the position for you. The majority of the rooms have full kitchens, which enables our guests affordable getaways. We typically sell out during winter snow bird season, the summers are typically Friday and Saturday sellout from around the Tampa bay area as Floridians go to the beach, and finally fall is our slowest season as snowbirds are not yet migrating and Floridians are not liking the cooler waters. We have a good business and need good, quality, service oriented hoteliers.
The principal responsibilities are as outlined below:
Office
Providing clerk functions as backup as needed and providing after hours door support as may be required for late checkins or walkins.
Cover the phone, desk, and door for no show clerks or in-between hiring of clerks or clerks on vacation
Stocking Supplies – may have a few stores runs once a month for supplies.
Paper Run – collecting rents from a dropbox and distributing receipts to tenants. Approximately 20 min per day roundtrip.
Room Cleaning / Quality Control
Holiday Isles Resort main business philosophy is “Clean and Affordable”. The head house keeper works 5 days per week. You will provide head housekeeping service for 2 days per week. The head housekeeper is required to clean up to 5 rooms, audit the housekeepers, and provide detailing of the rooms to ensure that our rooms are the highest standard in cleanliness. You will help ensure the highest level of cleanliness, through final detailing, scheduling deep cleaning, carpet and furniture cleaning, and maintenance, and laundry. Anything it takes to maintain the highest quality control and delivering high quality beach experience at an affordable price.
Cover any days head housekeeper does not show, or is on vacation. Cover as needed housekeeping functions (will be compensated for no show housekeepers or in between hiring of housekeepers)
Maintenance – need a handy person, who is quality minded
Plumbing – in the kitchens and baths (running toilets, clogged shower or faucets screens or drains)
Carpentry – minor, occasional furniture repair, pictures, etc
Painting – constant touching up of damaged walls, etc
Mechanical – door knobs, door key systems
Appliances –replacing failed fridges
Landscape – coordinate with maintenance helper to keep landscape and yard in good order
Building and grounds cleaning – coordinate with maintenance helper to keep grounds and building clean, including pool decks, outdoor furniture, etc.
Pool – responsible to keep pool clean and chemically balanced
Preventive Maintenance – cleaning ac’s, carpets
Pest Control – scheduled spraying for insects
Compensation Package
Salary based on 35 hours per week $1600 / mth – pay will be split between the couple a 17.5 hrs each per week
(2 bedroom onsite apartment) Rent, Utilities, Cable, Internet – valued $1000 / mth, $12,000 / year
7 days PTO after one year
Team must bring following skills
Must have experience in hospitality
Must be computer literate, MS-Excel, Word, Outlook
Must be able to type quickly, spell, and create clear proper English communications using proper grammer
Must be organized and schedule oriented
Must be quality minded <<< this is what makes us who we are
Must have minimum maintenance skills as defined above and basic tools (shop is provided)
Swimming pool maintenance skills an asset
The team must believe in doing a good job and taking pride in what they do
Pass extensive criminal background check

Follow Up Notes
You must be to able walk up and down stairs, lift 50 lbs, and abide by our dress code.
