Volunteer Camp Hosts Needed - Roseberg, OR

  Hello, We have one spot open at our beautiful campground on the Roseburg Oregon Bureau of Land Management District.

We are looking for friendly, organized hosts that can greet campers, clean bathrooms and campsites, and perform other light duties to upkeep the campground like stocking brochures and leaf-blowing parking spurs. We prefer hosts that have good communication and teamwork skills. In return, we offer full hookups and a small subsistence payment. 

Summer conditions are clear and warm with hiking, fishing and other recreational opportunities nearby. The Susan Creek Campground is maintained throughout the camping season by two host couples, so teamwork is critical. Susan Creek does have some online reservations sites and the rest are open for walk ups. This is perhaps are busiest and certainly one of the most popular of our campgrounds. 

The summer season will end in late October, hosts must be able to pass a background investigation which the BLM pays for. I will need a resume and some references to call. I hope to hear from you!

Looking for a hard-working, trustworthy couple to help care take rural property in Alexander Valley, CA.

Must have exerience in lanscaping, gereral knowledg of plumbing, electrical and overall "handyperson" type skills. Gardens - NO VINEYARD WORK.

Exchange 120 hr/month for: 2B/1.5 bath - all appliances -partially furished -private residence - plenty of natural light -beautful views!  Mostly furnished.  Three fireplaces with plenty of wood.  Your own yards and garden space, and off street parking.  Storage shed for tools.  Lots of room for expansion and welcome your ideas and creative vision!

Knowledge of: irrigation and overall property management.  Able to take direction, yet self-starter able to work on your own.  Love tending plants, gardens, yards, and know what it takes.

The property is on a well and septic system.  Current CO. permit allows for two people only.  Safe products and use are required.  Owners pay for the electrical service to run the well.

Fall fruit (pears, apples, nectarines, cherries, pineapple guava, and quince) harvest support.

Dividing bulbs.  Pruning – dead heading roses, is on-going during the summer.  Tree trimming, cutting into firewood, wood splitting, stacking, and covering, before the winter rains.  Help manage burn piles during the authorized season.  Projects – as assigned.  Opportunity to work over the exchange; however, to qualify - MUST have skills, primarily related to construction for larger - specific projects, at least interest to assist. Maintain outbuildings: large shop with paint vault - potting shed, storage sheds, wine cellar, and tea house.  Monitor, clean and fill numerous bird baths and fountains.  Vision to create more water elements a major + for all the native and migratory birds – large and small.

Domestic work would be considered, optional – not a requirement - ironing a major plus during summer – table cloths, napkins, special clothing, etc.  Cleaning in main house and guest cottage – which is used only be owner’s family and friends.

Front office & Maintenance - Tremonton, UT

Brand new 84-site rv park being built in Tremonton, Utah. 68 miles north of Salt Lake City and 81 Miles south of Pocatello, Idaho. We are in search of a pair of happy, energetic, friendly, customer service revolved, people to join our team.

We are looking to bring in a couple in by the end of July, first week of August, to assist in opening our beautiful new Rv park. We are interested in a couple whom may commit atleast 6 months to us. The first phase will be prepping the Rv park for opening. 1 person for the front office and the other for maintenence. Front office person will assist in setting up and organizing the front office, retail store and paperwork. We will be using Astra by Campground Manager, so experience with CM is a plus! Great customer service skills is required for the front office position. Once Park is open, duties will include, but not limited to, answering phone calls with a smile, assisting guests with check-in/check-out, retail store purchases, etc. Maintenence will assist in basic maintenence of the park, but not limited to, lawn care of 84 sites, mowing, weed-eating, watering, clean up of sites, etc. Carpentry, electrical and plumbing experience preferred. Compensation: 20 hours a week per couple goes to FHU, WiFi and laundry allowance. All other additional hours paid at $8.00 an hour.
