Assistant Property Managers - Pacific City, OR
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Join us on Oregon’s Spectacular Pacific Coast!
We’re looking for a couple or individual to help us operate one of the most well-reviewed inns in beautiful Pacific City, Oregon. You’ll work just two blocks from the beach, meeting guests from around the world and offering them our unique blend of vintage flair and classic value.
As an essential member of our management team, you’ll do it all to help us uphold our reputation for providing the friendliest, most efficient service and cleanest rooms in town.
Your duties will include:
- Checking guests in and out
- Taking reservations over the phone
- Cleaning rooms and maintaining our compact yards
- Helping with guest requests and concerns
- Providing advice on local attractions and events
- Managing guest reservations through our easy-to-use, cloud-based system.
Customer service experience is helpful but not necessary. We’re happy to offer paid on-the-job training for the right candidates. We’re flexible and can build a work schedule that accommodates other demands on your time. Lodging is a possibility, but you’re not required to live on site.
A classic motor lodge built in the World War II era, we offer casual, comfortable rooms with a retro beach vibe and a host of modern conveniences. We’re footsteps from shopping, dining and the mighty Pacific Ocean. Cape Kiwanda, Haystack Rock and the original Pelican Brewing Company are a short drive or bike ride away. We work hard to offer the friendliest service and best value in town.
We’re located one of Oregon’s last authentic, untamed beach towns. We think of Pacific City as a hidden gem — a rural community steeped in history and tradition with more than a dozen restaurants and plenty to do and see. Fishermen still flock to the banks of the grand Nestucca River (just one block away), and craftsmen still tend to the region’s famed dory boats in a neighboring drydock.
To learn more, please email or call. No application is necessary.
We’re eager to hear from you!

Anyone who loves working on old buildings with a respect and care for restoring the "old" rather than replacing with "new" would be someone we'd like to interview.
We wish to move towards being off the grid, and implementing regenerative farming practices, on a small scale, more as a teaching model, along with hopes to bring food to the table for our guests, so help in these directions are a plus.
another hope is to build an amphitheater on the property, hopefully behind our Main Lodge which we are restoring. This will hopefully be home to many wonderful performances under the stars, surrounded by trees and nature.
