Our 144 acre, 100% Off-Grid, family owned Hot Springs Resort is in Central California halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco 13 miles west of Interstate 5.
We are looking for energetic couples assist us cleaning overnight accommodations and rest rooms and (facility use only laundry rooms) and one person to work in the front office for answering phones, taking reservations and checking guests in and out. A FHU Site is provided at no charge and has 110, 30 Amp service included along with electric, laundry, WIFI, and use of the hot springs. All hours will be paid at $18-23 an hour each person. Based on experience.
We need couples starting immediately.The resort ameneities consist of 9 small cabins, 16 Campsites, 10 FHU RV sites, 3 Airstream trailers, 1 Tiny House, 1 family cabin, 20 soaking tubs, 1 heated Pool, 8 Restrooms, hiking trails, bird watching, Stargazing, Wi-Fi, Firepits (Seasonal) and guest use propane Bar B Q's.
For the right couple, accommodations may be provided in trade as an off-set to their combined paid hours. This is not guaranteed. But can be discussed during the inteview process.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Able to stand, walk, sit, move frequently during shift. Days and hours have flexibility.

- Leading the kitchen's operation, including menu creation, food budgeting, costing, and ordering
- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring food safety standards are met
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, and online ordering platforms is essential for this role
Qualifications for both roles:
- Proven experience in management, housekeeping, and culinary roles
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team dynamic
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
- Clean criminal record and possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Relevant culinary credentials, with a preference for Red Seal certification (although not mandatory), and all necessary food safety certifications

Sunridge Ranch is seeking a responsible caring couple to job share with an existing couple, 7 days on and 7 days off, for a maximum of four men who reside in this home model. The Sunridge Ranch model homes are located just outside the quaint college town of Ellensburg two hours east from Seattle. Unlike Seattle, the climate is semi-arid with low rainfall and four distinct seasons. Outdoor recreation opportunities are abundant- skiing, snowboarding, alpine hiking, and fly fishing to name a few. The ranch home is specifically designed to promote independent living for four men with developmental disabilities and utilizes various smart-home technologies designed to support this population.
The care philosophy of Sunridge encourages positive reinforcement with respect to each Resident. Our care providers are responsible for overseeing the Residents’ established daily routines and caring for the home. We strive to integrate all the typical daily opportunities experienced by individuals into a unifying whole, so that these men’s lives are truly as rich and fulfilling as possible.
Position Compensation starting at:
- Salary per couple is $80,000 based on four residents in the house, tax exempt.
- Regular wage increases based on hours worked along with a comprehensive benefit package including high-quality health insurance, PTO, etc.
- Housing, utilities, and food are provided as well as a house SUV to drive when on-duty.
The Sunridge Ranch model homes are built specifically to accommodate four disabled men and the care providers. The Ranchs are constructed on elevated multi-acre parcels and feature expansive living spaces with soaring ceilings, a mix of beautiful wood/carpet/tile floors. All of the private care providers master suites offer a walk-in closets, office area and spa bath. The Resident owners’ all have separate bedrooms with ensuite baths. The chef’s kitchen offers granite tile counters, 2 dishwashers, double ovens and a gas 5 burner cook-top. The media / theater room is spacious and comfortable for the Resident owners and their guests. All model homes are located on hillside overlooking the Kittitas valley and the views abound, including Mt. Rainier at several of the homes! Wraparound decks, BBQ and huge patio areas enhance the outdoor living experience. Some of the outside amenities at the various homes include swimming pool, 8-person hot tub, basketball hoop, raised gardens and gymnasium.
Work Schedule:
- Live-In Care Providers operate on a “7 days on duty and 7 days off duty” rotation.
- During their 7 days on duty, the care providers will reside in the master suite in the main house. The main bedroom is “flipped” like a hotel room between rotating couples.
- Housing reimbursement provided.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred, but not required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must complete the requirements to become an Individual Provider (IP) with Consumer Direct Care Network Washington (CDWA). CDWA will process background checks and all employment hiring documents. Based on this information they determine if you are eligible to become an employee of CDWA and can provide services to our residents.
- Caregivers need to be physically and mentally capable of implementing each Residents’ care plan which can include daily medications, personal hygiene care, behavioral support, meal planning and cooking, housework, light yard maintenance, etc. Sunridge Ranch is a non-smoking environment.
- Must be reliable, flexible, and passionate about enriching the lives of those with developmental disabilities and have the ability to work in a team environment.

- Pool Maintenance (Pool Open Seasonally May – September)
- Manage Vendors as needed
- Answer Tenant questions and resolve tenant issues or complaints
- Make sure tenants are following policy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to reside in their own RV (~2014) - Our park has the standard 10-year policy but we do allow older rigs based on approval.
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance
- Ability to work Office Hours of 8am – 4pm (closed for lunch) & Park Facility Close-Up Hours of 10pm -10:30pm. Work days and days off to be discussed and determined.
- Ability to be available for Park Emergencies
- Ability to cover for Relief Managers when they are off, sick or go on vacation
- Ability to do both Maintenance around the Park and Office/Computer work
- Maintenance Experience needed to perform various maintenance needs within the RV Park.
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with tenants of various backgrounds and find resolution to issues
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Permanent Management Position (not a Seasonal or Temporary position) which requires the Manager(s) to live On-Site Fulltime in the RV Park in Bakersfield, CA
- Full-time Paid Position (but a Part-time Paid Position may also be possible)
- 50 Amp or 30 Amp RV Space Hook-up inside the Park.
- Paid Vacation and Sick Pay
- Park Rules allow for Maximum of 2-pets not to exceed 20lbs each.
