Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Primary Cottage Parents is to establish and maintain positive relationships with and ensure the best possible care for children placed in their care at all times. The position involves the combined efforts of a strong married couple in providing for the total care, teaching, nurturing, training, guiding and supervision of a specific assigned group of dependent, neglected and abused children. The couple must have a secure and healthy marriage with a distinct desire/vision to love and care for hurting children. Each couple will be responsible for six (6) children and youth (long and short term) as residents in an on-campus home.

- Must maintain confidentiality of children/youth and program information at all times.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment with others and independently.
- Must possess the ability to make responsible, sound recommendations and decisions under direction and in time of emergency.

Caretaker(s) In-Residence - Christian Campground - Haddam, CT

We are seeking a year-round, in-residence Caretaker (can be couple) for our Christian campground located in Haddam, Connecticut on the Connecticut River. (The Caretaker position may begin as Interim with the opportunity to become permanent based on qualifications and performance.) The Caretaker will be an employee of CBA.
The 40-acre property is comprised of member owned private cottages, CBA owned out buildings and group rental facilities. A seasonal rustic campground, Camp Bethel is open to members and guests for six months each year (spring through fall) with the Caretaker continuing to be accountable for security and the grounds for the remaining six months.
Position offers:
- Year-round housing on-site in a recently renovated two-bedroom Caretaker cottage
- Subsidized utilities (electric and propane)
- Flexible hours and work schedule to fulfill duties
- Volunteer support in the maintenance of buildings and grounds
Caretaker Duties:
- Maintaining Camp Bethel facilities and grounds
- Properly maintaining all equipment used on site and repair, as needed
- Security and surveillance oversight, enforcing security policies and protocols
- Staying abreast of scheduled activities and supporting summer rental groups
- Preparing for the annual Camp Bethel Camp Meeting (August each year)
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications: The Caretaker should possess a strong work ethic, be a self-motivated and efficient worker able to conduct manual labor and work independently without direct oversight. Ability to maintain a positive and courteous, collaborative working relationship with Officers of the CBA Board of Directors, members and guests.
Additional pluses:
- Swimming pool maintenance and plumbing experience
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Caretaker or similar experience with a comparable seasonal campground
Required:
Background and DMV driver’s license check.
Three (3) references (prefer 2 related to work experience and 1 personal reference)

Searching for a qualified couple to help with day to day operations at our Campground! - Paulding, OH

We are looking for a full time “workcamping” couple to become a member and help with day to day duties of the Campground.
Benefits would include:
Spacious full hook-up site
Hourly wage between $9-$12 for hours worked
One meal from the camp store during shift
One to two full days off a week (mostly Mondays and Tuesdays)
Full use of the campground amenities
A golf cart for transportation throughout the park
$25 credit towards monthly electric (it’s metered)
Timeframe:
Early April to Mid-October 2019
Most work weeks will be Wednesday thru Sunday (evening hours)
Approximately 20 hours per week per person, possibility of more
The following duties will be required
Helping in the store
Cleaning, stocking inventory
food prep and delivery
taking reservations
greeting campers,
taking payments, etc
Grounds Maintenance
Mowing on a zero turn
Some weed whacking
General park cleanup
Operating mid-size tractor
Tree removal and trimming
Minor carpentry work
Painting
Deliver firewood
Restroom Cleaning
Help overnight campers get parked and hooked up if needed
Speak with our Seasonal Campers
Cleaning of the pool area
Moving decks and other items to different sites
Help park RV’s with tractor
Assist with and help plan weekend and kid’s activities.
Beach and Pond Maintenance
Periodic Honey Wagon operation
Weekend hours
The following duties are a huge PLUS and could lead to a higher hourly rate
- Experience operating construction equipment such as a mini excavator and skid loader
- Willingness to organize and run our robust activity schedule
- Willingness to run honey wagon on a weekly basis (we have some non-sewer sites that require a weekly pump down, additional pay is awarded for performing this duty)
- Proficient with Sunrise Panorama reservation software
- Advanced pool treatment, cleaning, and maintenance
- Advanced electrical trouble shooting skills (changing breakers, fixing cord ends, pedestal maintenance and installation, etc.)
- Advanced carpentry skills (pergola and deck building, playground structure building, etc.)
We are also willing to somewhat tailor your job duties to your strengths and what you would like to do!

At Woodbridge our focus is on family fun. Our goal is to provide a great camping experience in a clean, friendly atmosphere. Whether you seek a lot of activity or just want to sit back and relax, we know you'll enjoy our large campsites, friendly campers and quiet nights by the campfire.
- The 2019 season will run from April 19th to October 13th
- We have 243 total sites
- 208 of those are seasonal sites
- 36 of those are overnight sites
- Both groups are equally important to us and our overnight sites are full most weekends.
- Our seasonal campers are very good about welcoming our overnight guests
- We have an 8 acre meandering lake
- We believe in keeping the kids busy with activities and amenities

We are looking for a couple to help take some of the daily duties off of our shoulders. We have done the 80-100 hour work weeks and are ready to back those hours down though we will still be very hands on and involved. We are looking for a self-motivated couple who understands that though our campers are the most important part of the business they can also require a great deal of time (and patience at times too!) Rarely, if ever, will you work under our direct supervision so the ability to solve problems, manage relationships, and be a self-starter is a must.

Our Mobile home Park in Anaheim, California is seeking an experienced MANAGEMENT TEAM or COUPLE to handle the day to day responsibilities of the park. Duties include but are not limited to: general office work, resident relations, rent collection, enforcement of rules and regulations, service of notices, monthly newsletter, general maintenance: plumbing, electric, sewer and vendor relations.

The homes are owned by the members and run through the HOA
The park would prefer the on-site managers do not have pets.
They do not offer assistance in moving
