Innkeeper Couple - Merrill, OR

Merrill, Oregon is a small town with an old American feel. Merrill is the ideal location for hunters, bird watchers and explorers as there are many options in the immediate and surrounding areas. This includes the National Lava Beds, Lower Klamath and Tulelake refugees and impressive Glass mountain. We are looking for a couple or duo to help us oversee our seasonal, family motel. We are looking to fill this position asap.

Requirements include a trustworthy, personable, professional individual who is driven to provide exceptional customer service in an effort to create a memorable experience for each guest. Wild Goose Lodge prides themselves on offering guests an experience they can only get from a family motel, such as flowers in the room on Valentine’s day or a no extra charge dog bed for their best friend. Additionally, must have your own RV for living accommodations.

Job Summary

This is a lifestyle position, managing the day to day motel operations.  You live where you work. Responsibilities include reservations, responding to telephone inquiries, utilizing computer reservation software, guest registration, room assignments, accommodating special requests, laundry, room cleaning, and ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.

Job Duties:

• Answer phones, questions and take reservations in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide exceptional guest service, addressing requests and concerns with respect and compassion
• Greet and check guests into and out of the motel
• Manage guest accounts by accurately posting charges and settling cash and credit card transactions
• Wash, dry and fold motel laundry from each day
• Manage inventory of hotel supplies including cleaning supplies and linens
• Aid guests will small maintenance issues such as a tripped heater or clogged toilet
• Run all necessary night audit reports
• Maintain quality and cleanliness standards by making frequent walk throughs of rooms and common areas
• Clean rooms daily. Sometimes on your own and sometimes with extra help depending on quantity of rooms needing cleaned
• Manage cleaners scheduling and quality control
• Anything else that management deems necessary to ensure that the business prospers

Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates must be outgoing, friendly, honest, courteous, and have a passion for the business
• Computer and Internet knowledge required to operate online property management software
• Sufficient oral and written skills to produce communications that properly reflect the company image
• Prior customer service experience is preferred
• Experience managing motel preferred but not required
• Excellent references and a background check will be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic property maintenance knowledge and skills

Benefits

• Competitive salary for a 7-month season. May 1 to December 1. Work for 7 months and have 5 months off!

• Pay is $1800.00 per month. Raise to $2000.00 upon successful completion of 90-day probation.

Work Camper Immediate Position - South Haven, MI

South Haven, MI RV Resort :Camp workers and hosts, we have work positions available. We are a beautiful RV Resort by the Shores of Lake Michigan. We are looking for campground workers for the immediate 2019 season. July thru mid October.

These positions require a positive attitude, ability to work well with others, and the ability to have fun while working. Flexibility is a must as the hours vary from early morning to some late nights and hours in between. Must enjoy being outside. Job duties include site escort, after hours check-ins, clean up, and some grounds maintenance, pool cleaning, delivering firewood, prepping sites for check-ins and check outs. Working in the flowers/landscaping, weeding, trimming of plants. Possible painting. Opening and closing of buildings. Office help is needed and working on Campground Master is the program we use. Must be familiar with computer work. Experience in Campground Master is a plus! Your RV site, electric , water, sewer and wi-fi are in exchange for 24 hours per couple per week. Additional hours for pay are required.. We require RV's 28' and larger, 10 years or newer or like new condition. 

Work Campers Required - Warden, WA

Our Golf & RV Resort is in Warden, WA in the heart of the Columbia Basin. We are located 12 miles south of Moses Lake, 200 miles from Seattle and 100 miles from Spokane. We feature 41 large grassy RV sites for our guests that come complete with water, sewer, power, WiFi, no cable but satellite reception is good. The is also a restaurant, heated pool (in season), showers, propane, laundry facility, and ice. 

Help wanted: Looking for honest, warm, dependable couples/singles to serve as volunteers in a friendly, professional environment. Hours will vary by peak and non-peak seasons. We are looking for volunteers for the whole season or part of the season with a minimum 3 month stay. The season usually runs from mid-March until mid-November. Volunteers work 12 hours/week/person (singles 24 hours) in exchange for their site, water, sewer, power, garbage, WiFi, pool privileges, and best of all - unlimited golf including cart (when available). 

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best experience possible; that includes smiling, friendly staff, well maintained grounds and facilities, and great food. We have a variety of jobs throughout the resort for an average of 15 work campers. We sometimes have paid hours available for work campers, depending on the job.
