1) Clean interior of 600 sq. ft.  1 bed, 1 bath guest home after each use.

2) Restock kitchen and bath after each use.

2) Change bedding, bath towels, etc.

3) Heat in winter, cool in summer prior to guest arrival.

A west coast family is seeking an experienced, reliable couple to oversee all aspects of their small estate in Pierce County, Washington.  This is a quiet, on-the-water location requiring a couple who enjoys nature and is accustomed to secluded locations and wet weather conditions. 

Core duties include: hands-on landscaping, mowing, pruning, organic gardening, systems and buildings maintenance (main residence plus two guest cottages), grounds management, vehicle upkeep, project management as well as household management, scheduling for the family, errands, light housework and basic book keeping.  Other duties include but are not limited to winterization, gutter cleaning, hot tub maintenance, and general repairs. 

The family is in residence on a part-time basis so the incoming candidates will act as a trusted owner’s representatives.  They will supervise the property, conduct daily walk-throughs of the properties and grounds to ensure all systems are operational and the estate is family and guest ready, as well as manage the families schedule and affairs.   The Caretakers will be expected to provide the family with weekly updates noting pertinent updates, concerns, observations, progress reports, etc.

Only those with a stable employment history, clean background (which will include drug screening), kind disposition, high integrity, reliability, and utmost professionalism will be considered for this role.  Must love dogs! 

Compensation package includes a negotiable annual salary, full benefits, and private (separate 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage) accommodations.
