Couple to live work on small vegetable farm - Bay Area, CA

We have a small farm in the Bay Area of Northern California.
The farm grows vegetables and flowers for local restaurants, CSAs, farmers markets and private customers.
We are looking for a couple who want to live in a private bedroom/bathroom with a kitchen and living space on a beautiful piece of land and grow profitable produce.
Prior farming experience is a requirement for both members of the couple.
One of the couple must have experience with budgeting, Quick Books, invoicing, payroll and overall management
This arrangement provides housing and requires full time work for both members of the couple in order to make the farm profitable.
The couple will recieve a portion of the profit share.
This is a unique opportunity for the right couple who both love farming and contribute different skills that make a business successful. This couple will want to live on a beautiful, remote piece of land and enjoy fresh produce and flowers.
The position will start in early 2020.
Mobile Home Park Manager - Louisville, KY

Basic Management tasks will require approximately 10-20 hours/week
Maintenance and ground keeping another 10-20 hours/week

Closely monitor operations of park
Firm collections policy
Respond to inquiries immediately
Monthly invoicing of residents
Distribute other notices on a timely basis
Coordinate advertising – craigslist/other
Show/preview homes for sale
Screen new residents
Interact with contractors
Familiar with Eviction Process in KY
Comply with Fair Housing Laws
Experience using RentManager or another property management software
Maintenance, repairs, replacements, and upkeep of property and rental units as needed
Grounds keeping, including snow removal and lawn maintenanceif possible
General knowledge mobile home installation a plus
Experience with PayLease a plus
Strong sales skills
Adept with computers, mobile devices, and technology
Highly motivated
Ability and desire to expand responsibility
Ability to work independently
Comply with deadlines
Detail Oriented
Pay package negotiable
Monthly base starting at $1000. (depends on experience) and possibly includes a manager home.

Camp Host/Seasonal Park Aide - Mendocino County, CA

We are recruiting for Summer 2020. Summer Hosts and Seasonal employees needed. Enjoy the beauty of the our parks. Couples can live in the park for 6 months. Only one may be hired as a paid employee while the other does 25 hours of Camp Host duties a week.
All host sites have full hook-ups, but propane is not provided. We are asking for a 5-6 month commitment for all of our camp host positions. Visitor Service's Camp Host duties vary depending on the park unit. Duties can include staffing a visitor center, answering questions, firewood sales, cleaning sites once campers leave and light maintenance. Seasonal employees work at the entrance station and manage the camp site reservations and day use visitors. Seasonal Park Aides are paid 12.42 per hour. Email or call for more information.

Included with the position:
- A full hook up site (electric included)
- Use of 1 golf cart
- Paid for ALL hours worked $10-$12 depending on experience
- Full use of all campground amenities
- Meals when working
- Hours can be somewhat flexible, but we need the majority of the help in the evenings and on the weekends, especially the “Grounds” person
- All ending shift times are approximate. For example, if it is raining on a Sunday afternoon we often close the store at 2:00. Holiday weekends we have live music and the store is open until midnight. On three day holiday weekends, Sunday hours would be the same as Saturday hours, and Monday hours would the same as a normal Sunday hours.
- We are looking for a hardworking couple who enjoys working with people
Duties to include but not limited to:
Store person
- Greet customers when they enter
- Operate CampLife software (will train)
- Take reservations
- Light meal prep (Pizzas, subs, boneless wings etc)
- Answer phones
- Clean pool area
- Clean bathrooms
- Help prepare for and sometimes run activities
- Keep store in overall clean condition while working
Grounds person
- This person needs to be a liaison between the campers and the owners. Currently, the owners are getting bogged down with conversations and requests from campers on the weekends. We need a personable individual to help work with campers on their requests.
- Need a “Jack of all Trades” “ Fix it guy”
- Mowing and weed whacking
- Pool Maintenance
- Parking campers with the tractor
- Speaking with and attending to camper needs
- Ensuring the grounds are in top condition and clean
- Clean outside bathrooms
- Operate the Honey Wagon (once per week pump out)
- Carpentry work/light electrical
- Repair water lines/install new drainage tile (we have a mini excavator, skid steer, dump truck, etc)
- Help prep, pour and finish concrete

Star Island is a non-profit organization that hosts summer camps and conferences on 43-acre Star Island, one of the Isles of Shoals 10 miles off the coast of Portsmouth, NH. We employ over 100 people, (known as “Pelicans”), who perform jobs ranging from maintaining guest rooms and bathrooms to waiting on family-style tables to food preparation. Employment on Star Island is suitable for couples and for people coming out individually.
Room and board is provided at no cost; accommodations are basic and dormitory-style, with shared bathrooms. Couples have the ability to room together. Wi-Fi is accessible in all living spaces.
Camps/conferences address subjects such as natural history, international affairs, environmental protection, the arts, and island history. Pelicans work 6 days (approximately 42 hours) per week and have the option to spend their weekly day off on the island or visiting historic Portsmouth New Hampshire on the mainland for the day. Many Pelicans return year after year, and being a Pelican has been cited as one of the top ten jobs in New England. Most Pelicans love working and living on Star Island and make friendships and professional connections that last a lifetime.
