Our Campground is located in the beautiful foothills of the North Georgia Mountains near Cleveland, Georgia. We are seeking Workers On Wheels COUPLES for our privately-owned campground. 

We need help immediately with our Cleaning, Office, and Maintenance Teams. We are looking to fill vacancies through 2020 season. COUPLES work 25 total hours per week in exchange for their FHS, free WiFi (not for streaming) & laundry, propane (2-tanks per month), and electricity ($120). Extra hours are paid at $9/hr if needed by the owners. 

 

Seasonal Help Needed for beautiful RV Campground in NC Mountains - Newland, NC

We are looking for a couple (or family) who has their own RV, who would live here at least during our main season (April-October, although year long is a possiblity) that would help us maintain our beauitful campground in western North Carolina. All sites have full hookups and wifi. 

Primary responsibilities: caring/weeding the campground flower beds, running a weeder on the campground, cleaning bath houses, game room, and laundry room buildings. Maintenance skills are a plus but not a nessessity. Our campground is faith based and very family and pet friendly. We are blessed with mountain and water views all over the property. Guests love hiking to the top of Buck Hill Mountain and trout fishing in the North Toe River that runs through our campground.

3. Great communication and people skills.  During the seasonal peak season, the lodge has many people who come from all over the world to visit for their vacation.  It is the up most importance that they be given our full attention when needed.  This might mean stopping what you may be doing and turn toward the guest and listen to their question or concern.  It may also be something you notice in a guest room, that needs to be fixed.  Be sure to find a solution either way. Weather it may be, where is a good place to eat, or a slow draining tub, or stopping to pick up a piece of litter on the lodge grounds.  

4. Attention to detail, especially when it comes to guest rooms and common areas.  It is preferred that all guest rooms are in sink with each other as much as possible. We like every room to be in uniform, and the reason for that is because each guest is special to the lodge.  We would never want one guest to feel less important than the next.  In order to avoid that, everyone is treated with the same quality of service.

5. Our seasonal peak season housekeepers are essentially one of the most important team members.  They are expected to keep all 28 guest rooms clean and sanitized.  They should know that the importance of our business lies on their work integrity, documentation, time management and ability to keep in close communication with other staff to fulfill our guest requirements. So we can provide all guest with world class customer service.  

Caretakers - Donner Summit, CA

Responsible caretakers with good people skills wanted for seasonal job overseeing private property in the Donner Summit, California area. 

This position is best suited for a semi-retired or retired couple.  Season runs approximately from Memorial Day weekend to October 15^th. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, repair and maintenance of rustic 10-bedroom lodge, managing room reservations and cooking some home-style meals (mostly dinners).  Caretakers’ are entitled to the profits from all sales of meals prepared and served in the lodge.  Knowledge of basic water systems, wood-cutting and general handyman skills needed.  Must have own vehicle

Private living quarters in lodge with DIRECTV.  This position pays the couple $3,000 per month together with a vehicle allowance of $250 per month.

Caretakers - Real Property - Lihue, HI

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES

Position Summary

Responsible for looking after assets, individuals and properties at the request of the property owner.  Care for buildings and grounds of specific properties and reside at an off the grid property on Kauai. 

General description of resident Co-Caretakers duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:  

1.  Regularly inspect all buildings and grounds to include Main House, Caretakers House and Guest House to identify needed maintenance and repairs.

2.  Monitoring the electrical system and keep a log of usage.  Service the main generator and maintain the battery house and equipment.

3. Monitor the photovoltaic system for effectiveness.

4. Monitor the satellite internet system for effectiveness.

5.  Monitor the water system to include regular inspections and maintenance of system.

6.  Grounds maintenance to include maintaining paved roads, mowing road trails and house lawns.  Clean beaches of large debris and clear culverts.

7.  Vehicle and equipment maintenance of all vehicles on property (i.e. ATVs, tractor, backhoe, etc.).  Service lawnmower, weed whacker, etc. as needed.

8.  Maintain security of property by patrolling beaches and other areas regularly.  Monitor boat traffic and take photos of unauthorized individuals on property. 

9.  General house cleaning before and after family members vacate property.  Stocking of supplies to Main house and Guest House. 

10.  Manage family reservation calendar and take reservations for a 2-year timeframe. 

11.  Have weekly meetings with the owner with an agenda to be decided each week. Write a monthly report to include but not limited to: all expenditures towards property maintenance, receipts to be attached, capital needs of the property, family members present, trespassers, workmen or other visitors on property.

12.  Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned.
