Seasonal Lodge Housekeeping

1. Ability to be a team player and work in harmony with team. Showing flexibility and can work effectively in different circumstances. Someone who can quickly change gears. 

2.Strong work ethics. Be on time, meet deadlines work to the best of your abilities. Responsiable team members are expected to react accordingly when they see something that requires their attention, without being told.  Conduct yourself professionally on and off duty in order to represent our lodge in the best of light.

3. Great communication and people skills.  During the seasonal peak season, the lodge has many people who come from all over the world to visit for their vacation.  It is the up most importance that they be given our full attention when needed.  This might mean stopping what you may be doing and turn toward the guest and listen to their question or concern.  It may also be something you notice in a guest room, that needs to be fixed.  Be sure to find a solution either way. Weather it may be, where is a good place to eat, or a slow draining tub, or stopping to pick up a piece of litter on the lodge grounds.  

4. Attention to detail, especially when it comes to guest rooms and common areas.  It is preferred that all guest rooms are in sink with each other as much as possible. We like every room to be in uniform, and the reason for that is because each guest is special to the lodge.  We would never want one guest to feel less important than the next.  In order to avoid that, everyone is treated with the same quality of service.

5. Our seasonal peak season housekeepers are essentially one of the most important team members.  They are expected to keep all 28 guest rooms clean and sanitized.  They should know that the importance of our business lies on their work integrity, documentation, time management and ability to keep in close communication with other staff to fulfill our guest requirements.
