Caretakers - Donner Summit, CA
Responsible caretakers with good people skills wanted for seasonal job overseeing private property in the Donner Summit, California area.
This position is best suited for a semi-retired or retired couple. Season runs approximately from Memorial Day weekend to October 15th.
Duties include, but are not limited to, repair and maintenance of rustic 10-bedroom lodge, managing room reservations and cooking some home-style meals (mostly dinners). Caretakers’ are entitled to the profits from all sales of meals prepared and served in the lodge. Knowledge of basic water systems, wood-cutting and general handyman skills needed. Must have own vehicle
Private living quarters in lodge with DIRECTV. This position pays the couple $3,000 per month together with a vehicle allowance of $250 per month.
