Assistant Resident Managers (Team of Two) - Owen Sound, Ontario

Duties include:
Regular cleaning of building common areas including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of all halls, air vents, light fixtures, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, landings, entrance, elevators, laundry room and office area.
Assisting in building management and office administration.
Responding to tenant inquiries and requests within a timely fashion.
Conduct and/or supervise all on-site activity in accordance with the specifications of Skyline and in line with all applicable legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.
Good maintenance and cleaning skills.
General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
Knowledgeable with repair and general maintenance of HVAC systems.
Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented.
Good judgment and innovation.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs.
PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).
Previous sales experience an asset.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or 5 years work related experience.
Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants required.
Experienced in sales or related field.
Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in Ontario and the rights and obligations of Landlords and Tenants an asset.

Agriturismo Couple - near Agrigento, Italy

Overview:
Help wanted at stunning Sicilian agriturismo. We run a small, picturesque agriturismo in the beautiful Platani valley - 20 mins north of Agrigento and the famous valley of the Temples. We are looking for a friendly, honest and hardworking couple to help us from March until October 2021.
Work will include: meeting, greeting and hosting guests; cleaning; kitchen help and food preparation; and occasional work on the farm.
We need two people (a couple) who:
- are native or fluent in English (to communicate with guests)
- speak Italian to a sufficient level (to communicate with us)
- are cheery and like meeting people
- are reliable and not afraid of hard work (especially during the summer months).
Hospitality and catering experience would be an advantage.
Due to the financial implications of COVID on our small family business, we regret to say that this year this position is unpaid (voluntary), however, we will provide you with your own en-suite bedroom and all meals. During your time-off you will have an opportunity to explore the beautiful countryside or simply relax by our pool. And true to Sicilian tradition we will welcome you into our family! Moreover, if we are all happy working together after a trial season and you would like to stay on and help us indefinitely, this year’s unpaid position could lead to a permanent, paid opportunity from 2022 onwards for the right couple!
Help required:
Feudo Muxarello is a lively place, but also a happy place. There is always work to do (especially during the busier tourist season), but everyone works with a smile and we always make time to talk, laugh and and enjoy meals together (welcoming both staff and guests into our family).
For this reason we are looking for a couple who are: friendly (sociable people who like meeting people); hardworking (people who are happy to help when it is busy); and honest (people we can entrust to run the agriturismo when we are busy on the farm). Most importantly, we need a couple who speak English fluently, and who also speak Italian to a sufficient level (because we speak little English and will find it difficult to communicate otherwise). If you have hospitality or catering experience this will be a bonus!
Although no two days are ever the same, and we will try and match you to tasks that suit your experience and preferences and make sure you have time to relax/sightsee, generally we will need help with the following tasks:
- running the breakfast buffet
- cleaning the rooms; kitchen and dining room
- food preparation/cooking
- greeting and checking-in guests
- waitressing and hosting communal dinners
- grounds and garden maintenance
- occasional farm help
- (if you want) teaching us English
A flexible, happy approach is therefore appreciated!
Accommodation:
We will provide you with one of our beautiful en-suite rooms. It has air-conditioning/heating, a TV and fridge. All meals are included during your stay. Food is an important element in Sicilian culture as are mealtimes, which are shared all together. A lot of food prepared in our kitchen is sourced directly from our farm including our own delicious olive oil, wine and tomato "sugo". Linen/Towels are included and we have a washing machine where you can wash your clothes.
Getting to us:
Having your own car is the easiest way to reach us, and also enables you to sightsee more easily. However, it is possible to easily get to us by public transport from both Palermo and Catania International Airports.
From Palermo airport you can take the train to Aragona Caldare train-station (via Palermo Centrale). From here we will pick you up. Alternatively, if you fly to Catania Airport you can take the bus to Agrigento Centrale Bus station and we will pick you up from here.
Time off:
There is a swimming pool on our grounds and you can walk in the beautiful countryside. Valley of the Temples/Agrigento are a 20 minute drive away and there are lots of beautiful beaches and hilltop towns within an hours drive.
Visas/Passports:
Valid tourist visa/permits are the responsibility of the helper and we cannot assist you with this. We will therefore only accept couples who have European Passports, or a visa that gives the applicant the right to legally reside in Italy for the 6 month minimum stay we require.

Our RV Park managers will work 5 days out of the seven while our Host Campers will work the remaining two days. Mobile Home Park Manager Team - Princeton, WV
