Utah Recreation Company is seeking a friendly and hard-working team of two to be CAMP HOSTS and for our 2021 season! This is an exciting opportunity to work in the hospitality field while spending time outdoors and assisting campers.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Classification: Seasonal
Location: Campgrounds in the Ogden District
Site Provided for Position: Yes, ONE site provided for this team position
Wage: $10.35/hr for each person
Schedule: Variable hours based on location needs
ABOUT YOU:
- Own a well-maintained RV suitable to stay in for the season (picture submission required as part of the interview process).
- Experience in the recreation industry preferred
- Knowledgeable about visitor services and amenities in the forest and campground
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Positive attitude toward the campground environment
- Genuine concern for guests’ experience
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
- Must possess a valid driver license with a clean 3-year history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years (all new hires will be asked to provide a DMV printout)
- Ability to either stay on site in a well-maintained personal RV or camper (preferred) or ability to commute to your site each day (applicants planning to stay on site will be considered first)
JOB DUTIES:
- Greet arriving guests, assist with check-in and check-out
- Take an active role in seeing that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used appropriately
- Clean fire pits, bear-lockers campsites, parking areas, and roadways
- Paint/clean picnic tables as needed
- Clean restrooms as per housekeeping schedule
- Ensure vehicle procedures are followed in the use of assigned vehicles
- Know, understand, and follow established rules and standards for housekeeping and sanitation
- Monitor campground loop and handle any concerns or questions from guests
- Sell company-provided firewood, if applicable to location
- Be a friendly and helpful resource to visitors
- Enforce campground rules and regulations
- Resolve conflicts among campers and report problems to management as needed
- Notify supervisor immediately any time a guest is not satisfied with their experience
- Collect payment from campers and envelopes from fee tubes
- Weed trimming and lawn mowing

Property Management Team - 2 Openings (Iowa, Illinois)

Property Management Couple / Team position for a Manufactured Home Community.
Location: Marshalltown, IA OR Chicago, IL
Compensation: $50-70K (total for the team)

We are looking for a self-motivated couple to manage a Mobile Home Community. The team must live on property. One person will work in the office working with computer systems, residents, collecting rents, accounts payable, filing, and all other aspects of office work. The other person will work outside doing mowing, edging, painting, snow-plowing, light plumbing and electrical, and all other aspects of maintenance.
Property Manager:
- Direct sales and marketing activity.
- Perform weekly property visits with follow up.
- Ensure that all rents are collected and handle delinquency accounts with Attorney.
- 3 years of related management experience in retail, hospitality or property management preferred.
- Clear understanding of the budgeting process and effective financial management and analysis.
- Knowledge of computer systems is a must. Proficiency in rent management-based software.
- It is expected and required all business practices are conducted in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Must be flexible, willing to work Saturdays, and able to adapt in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
- To adhere to all applicable fair housing laws governing real estate sales, leasing and management maintenance service.
Maintenance Manager:
- Physical ability to effectively accomplish diverse skilled work in the repair and maintenance of facilities.
- Clean vacant lots.
- Basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Respond to resident service requests when applicable.
- Follow safety precautions.
- Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment and tools in a clean, secure, and appropriate working condition.
Qualifications for Both Roles:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of property management experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with strong time management, leadership and follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation is based on experience. Property Management experience is required.
B&B Innkeepers And/Or Self-Cater Managers - Sarlat, France
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are an award winning B&B located within the pedestrian only medieval walls of a small medieval village in southern France. This small picturesque village is minutes away from UNESCO World Heritage Sites and is known for its incredible gastronomy as well as its regional farmer's markets, specializing in black truffles.
We are hiring for the position of innkeepers for (at minimum) the months of May, June, July 2021. If possible ideally the innkeepers would also be able to stay the months of April and August as well.
Given the impact of COVID this year we are planning the option to offer our property as a B&B or as a self-cater holiday let. Thus, the innkeepers would need to be flexible. They may be operating a 4 bedroom B&B plus a self-cater one bedroom apartment in the same building, or they may be cleaning the building between guests as a 5 bedroom self-cater holiday let plus the one bedroom apartment self-cater holiday let. Therefore, during times of self-cater of the whole building this would be an opportunity to travel outside of this village where we are located.
Cleaning and breakfast preparation are necessary skill sets. Innkeepers would be in charge of answering emails and confirming reservations made on websites. We will also need occasional photographs of the property to be sent to us as requested to assist our marketing updates.
This may be a busy season where many interesting people can be met, or this may be a very low key season and an ideal time to enjoy a premier property in southern France!
Host and Deli Line Cook - Shelter Cove, CA
