Campground Maintenance Lead - Ypsilanti, MI

POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance/Safety team is responsible for ensuring that everything on-site works like a well-oiled machine – including the utilities we provide to our guests, the equipment and resources our team relies on to service our guests, and the appearance and upkeep of the buildings and grounds. We are the behind-the-scenes-ninjas who make sure that our property is safe for our guests to enjoy and always appears in like-new condition – no matter how dirty we must get to make that happen.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Perform basic carpentry, electrical/plumbing repairs, painting, staining, power washing, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager.
- Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs as instituted by the Campground Manager, including the pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machine, laundry servicing, and various other campground equipment upkeep.
- Ensure all guests and team members are at all times provided with a safe environment.
- Comply with all brand, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety, as well as that of fellow staff and campground customers.
- Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests' needs. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the Campground Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation

- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
- Long periods of standing
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb
- Must be able to operate various loud and vibrating maintenance tools and equipment

On-Site Property Managers - Plainfield, IN

We are seeking professional and customer-focused Motel Managers (couple) to oversee our Motel operations. In this position, you will carry out day-to-day operations and activities at the location. The motel is currently under renovation, and will open its doors for grand-opening end of May. Your duties will include renting out rooms, collecting payments, monitoring budgets, bookkeeping, and evaluating hotel performance.
To excel in this role, you must work diligently and professionally to bring the motel to high occupancy, and keep the maintainence costs lost. You must be approachable and detailed-oriented with proven hospitality or management work experience. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee other personnel including receptionists, housekeepers etc.
Collect payments and maintain records of budgets, funds, and expenses.

Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
Coordinate with external parties including suppliers, and travel agencies.

Bachelor’s/associate's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or relevant field preferred.

We are looking for LIVE ON teammates, positions available now through May/June and potential to stay on for superstars . The rent is low and the Island is a safe, beautiful, caring community....there is good money to be earned but will mostly be in November-May all things considered.
We are located outside of the Ft. Myers, FL area which would be the airport you would fly into if that is your preferred travel. We own Bocilla Marina at the North end of Pine Island which has a lot to park your car and features boat launch transportation both at no cost. Boat runs are several times a day 7 days a week, any after hours boat runs are by water taxi and cost about $ 100. Bocilla Marina is about a 20 minute boat ride to Useppa, a 15 minute drive to the closest store/banking, and about a 40 minute drive to the closest "city" attractions.
Housing is based on availability, for the right couple we have a nice trailer, with W/D, high ceilings, full kitchen, deck, furnished. Rent includes all utilities and Wifi is typically strong enough to run streaming services. Rent on this trailer is $ 350. We would also like you to feel as comfortable as possible, so bringing a few special items from home is ok, whether that be photos, music, movies, or a laptop.
Employees enjoy a 40% discount on all food items as well as a 25% retail discount in our store which carries a limited amount of food and Useppa Merchandise. Kayak Rentals, Fitness Center, Pool/Jacuzzi, Tennis Courts, The local area is an amazing place with a local Bar Restaurant on another Island nearby, a state park with 5 miles of secluded beaches and two close by Islands with restaurants, etc....On your days off you may enjoy relaxing by our refreshing pool, jump in a kayak and explore the barrier islands or simply take in the beauty and history of our island paradise.
Food servers earn Florida Minimum hourly + $ 250-1250 weekly depending on business levels; the workweek is usually 35-40 hours..Direct deposit is also available. Summertime is our "off season", with our peak periods between November and May. We also are operating a small restaurant, the Tarpon Bar which is a beach style bar overlooking our Marina with about 80 seats, which operates as a restaurant seasonally. We do frequent group and special events.
Please think about "Island Life" and if it's for you......you may only leave the island every couple of weeks at times and there is a small group of staff (about 15 currently) who live on the Island and create the social offerings.
