PROPERTY CARETAKER needed in exchange for rent. Looking for an experienced caretaker couple to live onsite and care for a small historic estate (1.1 acres) in South Carolina. Offering a beautiful large room with a working fireplace and very large windows which includes en-suite bath with walk in shower at no cost in exchange for ongoing care of the property to include general handyman and home renovation projects, carpentry, lawn care, tree maintenance, painting, outdoor home upkeep, and general repairs.

Prefer persons who take pride in their work, are dependable, able to complete tasks in a reasonable time frame, are honest and trustworthy with excellent references. Ideally a retired or semi-retired couple or individual who enjoys a slow paced small town environment.  Female of the couple to assume a housekeeping role with a small salary available for weekend caregiver duties.
