CLEANING COUPLE or INDIVIDUAL

for the 2012 – 2013 season

( Present Date 2012 to April 15 2013 ). 

Responsibilities include completion of daily/weekly cleaning ( 25 hours ) of on-site laundry room, restrooms and showers, as well as a Recreation Hall.

Seeking a couple/individual to clean the above referenced areas with a friendly attitude while maintaining an approachable demeanor.  If you and/or your mate have an energetic and outgoing personality with dedication and pride in your workmanship, we would love to hear from you.

Compensation:    Free Lot Rent with 50 Amp Electric

for the cleaning of Rec Hall, showers, restrooms, and laundry room.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Cottage Parents - Florida

The cottage parent couple (husband and wife team) is on duty (24 hours) for 8 days and 4 days off duty.  During the 8 days on the couple resides in a cottage with 10 teenage girls (ages 8 – 18). 

The youth are referred by their families because they are having a difficult time at home.  The youth are not juvenile delinquents, but have maybe started heading in the wrong direction and have possible attitude issues.  Our program is voluntary meaning the youth agrees to coming to the program which usually last about a year or until the youth and family agree that they are ready for reunification.  Some youth stay with us until they are ready to move out on their own after they turn 18. 

During their shift, the cottage parents role model appropriate parenting skills.  They teach the girls social skills, work program, recreation, and household chores.  Cottage parents help with transportation to school events, recreation, shopping, and other activities.  During the 4 days off housing is not provided (you will need your break away from the campus).  This position can be very demanding, difficult, stressful, and can be frustrating at times.  The long term rewards are worth it!  When a youth leaves program and calls back to report on how well they are doing or how much their cottage parents helped them, it makes it all worthwhile.

Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent (some college credits are preferred.)  Must be at least 21 years of age, can pass criminal/FBI screening, have a valid Florida driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment, a good driving record, a concern for youth, the ability and strong desire to work and live with youth in the human services field.

CAMP CARETAKER/MAINTENANCE PERSON(S) - Homer Glen, IL

We are looking for a full time live-in maintaince man/caretaker for our summer camp. Position requires knowledge of the trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, etc). Caretaker is responsible for day to day maintainance of the facilities and equipment, some janitorial, and opening and closing duties. Person must be responsible, self motivated, honest and hard working. Perfect position for recent retiree who is in good health. Must be able to perform all duties including but not limited to grass cutting, snow removal building repairs interior and exterior, equipment maintainance and repair. Home provided is small so not really suitable for large family. Job requires a self motivated, honest, hardworking individual. Storage West Self Storage has a TEAM opening at one of our Las Vegas facilities. The facility managers will live on the property, in an apartment provided by the Company. Prior self storage or property management is a plus; prior customer service and sales management experience is required. You must have a valid driver's license and good driving record. Must be able to lift, carry, bend, stoop, push a broom, etc. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, written and oral, and be proficient at basic PC skills such as MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.

Immediate Position Open for Live On Site Relief - Assistant Innkeeper Couple/Individual preferable with previous Motel-Innkeeping Experience but will train the right candidate.

Property is a Family-Operated 37 rooms Motel located in Rifle, Colorado that offers basic accomodations. Located on Interstate 70 and Highway 13.  Rifle makes the perfect stop over as you travel through the beautiful Colorado High Country. We also offer long term stay specials for those who work in the Energy Field (Oil & Gas) in the area.

This is a nice opportunity for retired or semi-retired active couple with additional income (maybe one that works from home etc.) due to a fact that at  this time this position offers on site 2 bedroom apartment and includes all utilities (also wifi/cable) only in exchange for work (in the off season) and small salary in the peak season.

40 hours per week (TBD) most weeks of the year with the exception of off season.  There will be some weeks where more than 40 hours will be required (Christmas Break, Spring Break, July and busy holiday weekends).
