FEATURED JOB OPENING: Caretaker Couple for Beautiful Vacation Villa - St. Croix, US Virgin Islands

We are seeking the services of an up-beat, live-in caretaker / property manager couple for a unique and beautiful four-bedroom vacation rental Villa, located on the north shore of the island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
In general, the main responsibilities of the position will be to:
- · Facilitate the Villa’s day-to-day care and selected maintenance, including designated hands-on tasks.
- · Secure and protect the property.
- · Meet, greet, and orient arriving Guests.
- · Be available as an as-needed resource to the Guests during their vacation stay while ensuring their privacy.
- · Schedule routine maintenance and emergency repairs; handle special tasks as needed.
- · Provision and procure basic villa supplies.
- · Support and coordinate with the Owners and administrative team so as ensure the smooth operation and continued success of the Villa.
For further consideration:
This is a half-time, as opposed to a full-time position, with higher “pulses” of required activity and support before and during Guest arrivals. A supplemental home-based occupation or flexible employment in conjunction with the management of the property can be viable.
The position entails some aspects of physical labor in a tropical environment with the potential for some intense work during the hurricane season. Accordingly the position is ideal for a mature, yet physically fit and energetic couple. This is not a passive house-sitting position. The Caretaker couple will be expected to take active ownership and responsibility toward some reasonable and common sense tasks, which are supplemented by various contractors and vendors. Accordingly, some general handyman skills are a plus - the more, the better.
We are offering free rent, free utilities including internet, TV, local phone, some very nice perks in a beautiful environment, and a monthly stipend. However, we would not be offering benefits or a formal salary per se. The generous one bedroom apartment includes amenities such as private entrance, bedroom air conditioning, dishwasher, laundry access, views of the Caribbean Sea, and a modest yet private terrace area with the same views.
The ideal candidate couple will be positive and upbeat, with a strong, self-motivated, problem- solving, task-completing work ethic. You will be professional, polished, have good communication, organizational, and people skills and be willing to work as an integral part of a team. Honesty, integrity, and flexibility will be your natural hallmarks. In consideration of our Guests, this is a no-smoking environment, no children, and no dogs, (although indoor pets such as cats would be acceptable). Your immediate surroundings and that of the Villa must be kept clean. In short, you will contribute your friendly, peaceful energy to a friendly, peaceful place.
As a US Territory, St. Croix has many of the same stateside amenities one would normally take for granted. Many people come to fall in love with the unique and beautiful place that it is. The position is available starting in May with some modest flexibility as to a starting date. We are looking for an adventurous couple to be winter caetakers fo a remote lodge. This could also be a full time year round position for the right couple. IN winter this is a very remote isolated location, completely snowbound, with no phone service. There is very good satellite internet and radio communicaton. Duties would include, but may not be limited to---general maintenance and housekeeping. Some snow removal, pumping gas for snowmobileing visitors and serving easy meals to them. RV AND BOAT STORAGE MANAGERS - YULEE, FL

I need a couple to manage and live at my RV & Boat Facility and Uhaul business. There is currently a 30ft trailer that is under cover with all the well and septic hook ups on the property that can be utilized as a home as it has been for previous managers. However, if you have your owner motor home, we have the 50 amp hook up and well and septic so you could also use your own. The hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9-5 and your duties would include taking new customer calls, handling any issues with existing customers as well as receiving payments and updating the software, mowing and weedeating the grounds (equipment provided). It is a 5 acre property and you would basically be responsible for making sure it always looked good and was professionally ran. The compensation starts out at 1,000 a month plus all electric, water and up to $89 of cable. The uhaul pay is in addition to that and that is paid solely on commission at 25% and usually is a few hundred dollars extra per month depending on how hard you work it. We also run a firework stand during July 4th and New Year’s so there is an opportunity to earn extra money during those months as well. There might be an opportunity to provide some other administrative assistant type of work for the owner’s other business ventures for additional money each month for the right candidate. Amongst the requirements there will be housekeeping, laundry management, cooking for the family, as well as butler duties, chauffeuring and property upkeep. The ideal couple will work pro-actively and will be approachable, with flexibility for some travel. There is a part time cleaner employed, who will work alongside and be managed by the couple, along with a full-time Gardener and Nanny.
The couple will ideally speak Italian (although not a prerequisite) and fluent English.
The accommodation offered is a separate, spacious 2 bedroomed house, within the grounds of the estate and utilities will be included.
The role will start ASAP and the salary is competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.
Working hours will be a 5.5 day week, with flexibility to cover 7 days when the family are in residence.
Extra pointers:
• The cooking required will be simple dishes (salads, pastas, soups, fish, organic vegetables). The family are not expecting a professional chef.
• In the regards to the butler duties, the family are not requiring a trained Butler, but someone who is skilled and will be able to perform to high
standards in assisting the principal.

Experience: Prior self storage experience required. Office skills, communication, familiar with office machines. Sales skills preferred. Cash handling and telephone skills.
Qualifications: Good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping. Extensive knowledge of self storage industry law. Successful record of accomplishment of sales and marketing skills in the self storage industry. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Employment is also subject to the satisfactory results of a background check.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
