Farm Couple Team - Western, MA

Couple Team needed to care for and maintain a beautiful 300 acre property in western MA for a family of four who visit the property on weekends, holidays and full time during the summer. This is a full-time position for an experienced, committed couple with a strong desire and understanding for rural, country living. Responsibilities include but are not limited to cleaning and caring for the house (4,500sf under construction to be completed in April) two guest cottages, laundry shopping, handyman services, vehicle and equipment maintenance, some errands and driving, and generally serve the family while they are in residence and the property when they are not. Provide complete animal care on regular animal caretaker’s days off; feeding and cleaning enclosures for horses, sheep, donkeys, chickens and rabbits; with primary responsibility for the well being of the animals as this team will be the only staff members living on site. Must be able to maintain and operate all necessary equipment; snow plow, tractor and mower. Maintain privacy and security for the family, check and repair fencing, mowing, prune trees and maintain vegetable and flower gardens. Basic trade skills are required for repairs and upkeep of property. Excellent communication, inventory and financial record-keeping skills are required to report regularly and directly to employers. Ensure property is prepared for owners and guests to enjoy at all times. Looking for a couple with a natural love of animals and children, and living in a farm setting. Charming, freshly painted home with new appliances and hardwood floors provided on site, plus a truck for work purposes. Salary 90-100K for the right long-term experienced couple and will include health insurance.

We’re a very busy fun, family KOA destination campground located the in Great Lakes area of NW PA seeking 2 full-time, people-friendly Work Kamping Couples for an immediate opening, April 23 – October 21 2014 season.We missed our founder's Award in 2013 by a couple of points. We need your help to reach it this summer! Duties would include cabin & restroom housekeeping, and other minor maintenance duties for him, and clerking & front desk for her. Picture yourself enjoying our family friendly atmosphere with free catch and release fishing and explore the Great Lakes Area of NW PA! Clerking is fast paced in busy camp/convenience type store. Reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and amenities band program, serving Slushies and dipping ice cream will keep you busy. Knowledge of some reservation software required, knowledge of Kampsights is a plus! Maintenance & Housekeeping includes escorting campers, garbage duty, changing light bulbs and other light duty items, collecting mini golf balls, bagging ice, jumping pillow duty, swimming pool, set up and tear down of events and activities, trimming, landscape maintenance (watering flowers, weeding), etc. Housekeeping for two bath houses, pavilion & sink area, & 2 deluxe cabins & kitchenette & primitive cabin as needed. Pay and Benefits: Season Runs April 25 – Oct 20. Dates negotiable based on your availability. We provide FHU 30 amp campsite at 12 hours per couple per week (50 amp site available for 13 hours per week). Work 3.5 days per week together, enjoy 3.5 days a week off together! Extra pay DOE starts at @ $7.75/hour for all other hours worked. We provide $50 (30 amp) electric allowance (you pay anything above that amount) per month, free 48 channels of TV (installing in May), free Wi-Fi, and 25% discounts on propane, groceries, and more! We're looking for a couple to cover two areas of need for our 2014 spring, summer & fall seasons. We are open to a possible permanent year-round relationship.

Area 1: Housekeeper / maintenance / customer service person.
Area 2: Maintenance / grounds keeper / customer service person.

Housekeeping / customer service responsibilities includes (but not limited to): Thorough housekeeping & room cleaning duties, laundry, community area cleaning along with guests interaction & services as needed.

Maintenance / grounds keeper responsibilities includes (but not limited to): Light fix-it jobs, painting, lawn maintenance, trash disposal & community area cleaning, along with guests interaction & services as needed.

Applicants requirements: Must be honest, warm, friendly & helpful and possess great customer service skills. Must have a neat & clean appearance and the applicants must be responsible, self-motivated, smart workers and organized self-starters.

Working hours: Approximately 128 hours per month required. (4 hours per day / per person - 4 days per week)

Applicants Compensation: Small "private" upstairs 2 room apartment (on property) which includes all utilities, satellite tv, wi-fi & laundry, a fair wage of $400 per month along with 3 days off every week.

Campground workcamper couple needed for summer 2014 - Iron Mountain, MI

Upper Peninsula Michigan campground seeking friendly, energetic workamper couples for the 2014 season. We are looking for a couple to be here from May 15 (at the latest) until September 15. Duties include registration/office work (must be familiar with a computer), cleaning bathrooms, lawn maintenance, escorting campers to their sites, cleaning firepits, etc. Each person will work 12 hours a week (24 hours total for couple) in exchange for a full hook up site. You generally will work 3 four hours days (same days and hours as your partner). There is no pay associated with this position.
