Ranch Couple - Cedar City and Toquerville, UT
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We have two positions open for two hardwoking couples on our ranches in Cedar City, Utah and Toquerville, Utah, and housing is included We are a ranch/rodeo outfit, and we raise saddlebroncs, bareback horses, and raise and breed bulls. Our stock is used in PRCA and PBR events across the western states, including the biggest rodeo in Utah, Days of 47, held in Salt Lake each July.
On the ranching side, you would need experience in all aspects of the care of horses and cattle, from riding fenceline to birthing calves to maintenancing tractors. On the rodeo side, a CDL is necessary because we drive semi-sized stock trucks to the rodeos. And what could be more fun than seeing a bull you bred and tenderly raised, buck so well that the world champion cowboy on his back either gets a fantastic score or else doesn't go the 8 seconds?

A unique opportunity for a mature couple looking after a stunning Cornish garden open to the public and part-time housekeeping. No gardening required, the role involves opening and shutting the garden, monitoring the garden for any issues and general security. Someone with enthusiasm and initiative would be welcome. A beautiful three-bedroom cottage within the garden comes with the job. Approximately 12 hours a week in the open season (March-October) and seven hours a week in the closed season (November to February).
Housekeeping role to include 10-12 hours a week of cleaning, including ironing, and overseeing a weekly delivery of groceries. There is a requirement to work occasional weekends during the year looking after the house and guests. Work involves making beds, laying tables, lighting fires, washing up, laundry etc. No cooking required but would be bonus.

I live on the ocean. You would have your own private room and bathroom. Your room has a flat screen TV with full cable. And in your room with free long distance calls. Also a computer for you to use. plus $250.00 a week.
Cooking is a big, huge + not a deal breaker if you do not cook. Laundry and Picking up is a huge part of this job. Must wash, fold, and put away laundry. No ironing. At the end of the day all the toys at the end of day. Good English and a good driver is very important.
Hotel Managers Needed - Houston, TX

Successful candidates must be capable of working with the owner to develop a complete staff from to Guest Services to Housekeeping. The right candidate will have the capability to take this hotel to the highest level of customer service, cleanliness, food and beverage standards, and market penetration.
This position will report directly to the Operations regional manager of the hotel. The responsibilities include managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned goals for the operational integrity as measured by occupancy, revenue, house profit, and RevPar index while maintaining company standards for guest satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection.
This position will involve Sales and marketing to local businesses, sports, religious and charity organizations, group reservations.
This position will have oversight of the housekeeping, front office and courtesy shuttle departments of the property. A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service and guest suite cleanliness. This position will also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates, as well as disciplinary measures.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working with a Franchise Hotel as a Manager, Assistant Manager or Sales Manager
- Assists in the overall profitability of the hotel.
- Assists with the supervision of the departments within the hotel.
- Ensures the highest standards of service, quality and comfort exist for our guests.
- Participates in the selection of guest service representatives and housekeepers.
- Performs administrative responsibilities.
- Assists with room inspections.
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal. Ability to effectively communicate ideas, policy and procedures to other associates.
- Above average computer skills not limited to Internet navigation and research, Microsoft Office products, basic keyboarding.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service skills and focus. Must have the ability to resolve issues with both employees and guests.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Working knowledge of and ability to analyze financial statements is a great positive.

150-space, upscale mobile home park in California's beautiful Napa Valley needs couple to be Property Manager and Maintenance Manager. 90% of the mobile homes are owned by occupants, so no maintenance to be done on those. We have, and strive to maintain good relations with our residents, and to provide a clean well-maintained property for them.
About You Two:
Should be energetic, self-motivated two-person team, with strong customer service capabilities and attention to detail. Prior experience managing a mobile home park and coursework with the WMA are good, but not necessary. Being licensed to change-out water, gas, and electric meters is good. You should have basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer, eMail).
About The Property Manager Job:
Collect rents, post late notices (about 10/month), put ad on CraigsList and in newspaper when a park-owned home becomes available (about every other month), show the park-owned homes when they come available for rent, schedule outside vendors to make major repairs. Good record-keeping skills - each tenant's lease, notices, etc. must be kept properly filed. Please have professional appearance, and be courteous to our residents. This is a part-time position, however you should be reachable most of the day and evening for emergencies.
About The Maintenance Manager Job:
Hands-on general maintenance abilities, supervisory capabilities and the ability to meet timelines and schedules. Some, but not all, tasks are mowing common areas, rule enforcement, site inspections, installation of utility meters (about 30/year), swimming pool maintenance and open/closing, and subcontractor approval and supervision for major repairs. Please have professional appearance, and be courteous to our residents. This is a part-time position, however you should be reachable most of the day and evening for emergencies.
About The Compensation:
Salary of approximately $40,000; free rent in newly-renovated double-wide 2BR/2BA mobile home plus utilities paid; health benefits; vacation benefits.
