Souvenir Sales Route - USA - AL to, WY

Restaurant Manager, Sous Chef, Wait Staff & Retail Couples - Cooper Island - British Virgin Islands

Our Caribbean resort is looking for couples to fill any two of the following positions from October 2015.

Restaurant Manager: required to head our FOH team for the new season beginning in October 2015.  Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position and have knowledge of POS, inventory & cost control, food hygiene, employee training, customer service and have a strong background in food, wine & cocktail presentation.  The position is very hands on working with the team in our very busy restaurant dealing with up to 250 seats for lunch and 150 for dinner, ensuring that all company standards and service are maintained to a very high level.

Sous Chef: required to join our expanding kitchen team, NVQ Level 3 or higher and at least 2 years experience working in a high volume kitchen in a similar position.

Wait Staff / Boutique Sales:  Individual with Front of House and retail experience to assist in our restaurant and resort boutique.  Must enjoy guest contact and be of a very caring and bubbly personality.

All applicants must be willing to live full-time on the island, working split-shifts, evenings, weekends & public holidays and must be able to live in close quarters with other employees. A one year Work Permit is required for all Nationalities subject to approval by the Labour and Immigration Departments and can be easily renewed each year.  If you have a criminal record, including juvenile offences or major health issues, approval will be denied. Hotel Representatives - Hershey area, PA

Looking for a couple to work at a midsize hotel in a rural town in Pennsylvania to join our team.

Job requirements are as follows:

Working the front desk checking guests into their rooms and answering phone taking reservations/cancellations and answering questions.

Work the overnight shift by answering the night window when office is closed.

You will not be required to do these hours awake the whole shift. We have a phone system that allows prospective guests to call your room extention for your services.

Work the breakfast time:

You will be responsible to get the breakfast ready and all set to go when the breakfast doors open.

There is no cooking involved. It is a mid size continental breakfast

Responsible for helping guests if needed

Cleaning the tables when a guest is finished

During this time, you will answer the phone if needed and accept the keys from departing guests

You will be responsible for cleaning the breakfast area when breakfast is finished

Taking inventory of items so we can order

Being very personable to the guests

After breakfast is finished:

Responsible for the laundry and laundry room (1 washer 2 dryers)

While waiting for a load of laundry to finish, you will walk the outside area for any trash or litter

Help with minor repairs, updates and maintenance

This job is perfect for a couple, that way the hours can be split up between the 2 of you.

This is a 7 days a week position

Live-In Property Caretaker Couple Wanted - Galisteo - Galisteo, NM

Retired sweet couple in their late 80’s is in need of a wonderful couple with no children, to help care for and maintain their beautiful land and estate in Galisteo, New Mexico. The couple would live in their own private 2-bedroom house on the property with their own yard and storage and can have quiet pets. Smaller pets are discouraged due to coyotes, rattle snakes and a family of mountain lions nearby…but not dangerously close! This position is available now for those who can make a long-term commitment. Galisteo is an incredibly scenic and serene place to live but it is very secluded and 2 miles from the Galisteo village. The closest grocery store is a 20 minute drive to El Dorado and a 40 minute drive to Santa Fe. It’s important that the couple be comfortable living this kind of lifestyle and for this work to be their main job.

The ideal couple would not have to leave the property to go to work, so anyone who works from home is preferred. There will be minimal training but we are looking for someone who has a lot of experience in landscaping and is a Jack-of-all-trades when it comes to home maintenance. However, one person must have a general knowledge and experience in gardening, fertilizing, drip arrogation and pruning. There are no large animals on the property besides the retired couple’s large, kind dog. The hours needed are about 40 a week so the retired couple are offering a set salary. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Landscaping
• Watering
• Mowing grass
• Handyman work around the property
• Gardening
• Dog sitting
• Running errands
• Snow plowing in winter
• Tree trimming
• Any help the couple needs

One person can do all the required duties listed above and will also have outside help from other hired workers at times. The couple can work as a team or one can do all the work on the property while the other works from their home. Another option is that the couple can provide the following services for more compensation although they are not required:

1. Cooking
2. Housekeeping
3. Laundry/Ironing

The couple is free to have friends and family over to their private home but the retired couple does not want a home business bringing in people onto the property. It’s important that the couple keep the property safe by not giving out the gate code to anyone but close friends and family. The couple’s house is not furnished so during the one-month trial period, they will be able to stay in a furnished area of the main estate or are free to move their furniture in if they are confident the position is a good fit. Unique opportunity for an energetic couple with at least five years’ domestic experience in Canada to  take charge of a large, formal residence in the Bayview area.

Must be experienced in the day-to-day running of a large home i.e., housekeeping, laundry/ironing, shopping, food preparation and serving; property maintenance--gardens, pool, handyman chores and chauffeur duties as needed.
