They have a 2.5 acre manicured garden and they are looking for the male half to have a background in landscaping...But NOT required.

The living accommodations: the entire third floor that consists of a two bedroom suite with private bath.

They do have a small dog - MUST LOVE DOGS

2016 Season - Breakfast Cooks - Hot Springs, SD

Enjoy the 2016 season at this fun-filled campground nestled in the southern Black Hills located near many popular attractions such as the Mammoth Site, WInd Cave National Park, Wild Horse Sanctuary, Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore.

We are looking for a friendly couple who can handle cooking breakfast in our KOA Cafe (open Memoria Day - Labor Day).

Seeking a couple with cooking experience on a flat top grill to cook breakfast from a simple menu.  Our menu includes scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy,  loaded hash browns, bacon, sausage, fruit cup and all-you-can-eat pancakes.  The KOA Cafe is open 7 days a week to our campers as well as the genera public.

One person will cook and th other will serve as a helper to the cook.

Workers will need to get th pavillion ready every morning for breakfast and that will include wiping tables and rolling out the condiment cart.  After breakfast duties will include washing cooking utensils used & silverware, prepping for next morning, as well as taking out the trash from the pavillion.

Couple will need to work 5 days a week for 32 to 40 hours.

Other jobs may be assigned around campground after breakfast is over.

Compensation -

FHU site povided with WFi & cable TV, laundry allowance, store discount, hourly wage $8/hr for all hours worked.

Couple wanted for Housekeeping in small 55 plus RV Park,  work Monday thru Friday 8 to noon.   Cleaning of Rec hall, bathroom/shower rooms (4) and laundry rooms (2). You would get full hookup, electric and laundry.

His Duties: Exterior maintenance, caring for the vehicles, driving older children to events, etc.

Position Description:

  * Part Time Position: Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

  * The Position includes, but is not limited to: answering phones,  taking payments, renting units, cleaning vacated units and office, making bank deposits, mailing letters, doing collection calls, maintenance, keeping the grounds clean and light gardening.

Qualifications:

  *   Sales experience (in person and phone sales)

  *   Mini Storage Experience Desirable

  *   Computer literate (Word, Excel) and other Windows based programs

  *   Outgoing and self motivated

  *   Handyman able to fix normal mini storage problems

A -Morning shift (0600-1400) requires opening gates and showers 0600, daily information sharing with campers and others, recording of license plate numbers, managing reservations & walk-in sites, light cleaning of showers and restrooms, keeping restrooms stocked, and picking up litter as needed around the campground.

B-Afternoon shift (1400-2200) requires managing reservations and first come sites, light cleaning of showers, restrooms, and keeping them stocked, quiet 

rounds at  10:00pm, lock gates and showers.

SOUTH ZONE MATURE CAMPGROUND ROVING (traveling) CARETAKER

Duties include but are not limited to: restroom cleaning, mowing, weed eating, leaf blowing, firepit cleaning, litter pick up in various campgrounds.

ALL ODNRA VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE:

CAMPGROUND WITH FULL - HOOK UP + PROPANE, BUSINESS CELL PHONE OR LANDLINE, UNIFORMS

THESE ARE 5 DAY, 20 hour weekly (4hrs per day) with pre-designated 2 days scheduled off.

MUST BE MATURE, ENERGETIC, AND PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF PERFORMING DUTIES.
