Farm Seeks Couple for Live-in Housekeeping/Property Management Opportunity - Rosemont, NJ

Property owner seeks couple to live on-site and provide housekeeping and property management services for a 10+ acre horse farm located in Rosemont, NJ.

Position includes recently renovated one bedroom apartment on premises. Basic utilities are also included (water, gas, electric). Must be available on a daily basis, however hours are flexible.  

Seeking two people able to share responsibility for the following tasks:

Housekeeping

·         Complete daily routine cleaning tasks for the property’s two residences (main house/guest house and immediate outside areas), including vacuuming, bed making/linen changes, laundry, dusting, washing dishes, etc.

·         Carry out more involved/detailed cleaning tasks on a weekly or monthly basis depending on owner requirement.

·         Maintain household systems and keep household supplies well-stocked.

·         Light cooking required when property owner is on-site.

·         Personal errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up, and other local errands.

·         Care for one medium-sized dog, particularly when owner is out of town.

Landscaping/Property Maintenance

·         Landscaping of common property areas – weeding, mulching, plantings, etc.

·         General upkeep of property’s various outbuildings (potting shed, barn, theater, garages, etc.).

·         Prepare the property for events and visitors when necessary.

·         Carry out more involved/long-term landscaping projects on a seasonal basis depending on owner requirement.

·         Maintenance of vegetable garden and flower beds on a seasonal basis.

·         Operation of snow removal equipment in winter months.

Both positions require excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills. Experience with horse care is preferred but not required.

Bi-weekly pay is offered in addition to living quarters; rate negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Hard working, honest couple to run and manage bustling B and B. Duties include Breakfast prep. Housekeeping, Car rental, Office/Scheduling, all phases.

Ranch/Property Managing Couple Wanted - Macon, GA

Currently seeking a working couple to manage our ranch. The ideal couple will over see the entire property and all maintenance it requires.

The couple must posses the skills to train, feed, clean and take care of 7 horses. In addition be able to teach new riders and coach existing riders wishing to learn further riding techniques. The barn and stables must be clean and presentable at all times. In addition to the barn and horses the couple will be responsible for maintaining the 500 acre property which includes mowing trails and fields, manicure of all landscape around the houses and driveways. Furthermore being able to clean and perform all maintenance on a variety of ATVs, boats and tractor. The couple must have experience with tractors and other landscape equipment including zero turn mowers, string trimmers blowers and chain saws.

Ideally the couple will also be responsible for the upkeep of the houses, this will require house keeping, cleaning and changing of beds and sheets after each guest. In the event the couple is unable to perform all the duties of the job they must be able to hire and oversee outside contractors. During slower peeks some handyman work will be required such as painting, deck and dock repairs, etc.

Work Campers - Warren, ME

Our resort, located in  midcoast  Warren, Maine, is looking for a couple for the 2016 season, which starts May 1st and ends Oct. 31st.  We are a small community consisting of 75 privately owned sites, most of which have either park models or permanent rv's on them.  Sites are large and privately maintained.  South Pond, a 3 acre lake,  borders the property.  Rentals are done by owners on a monthly or seasonal basis; therefore, there is little transient traffic.  Located right off of Route 1 we are a short distance from Rockland, Camden and  Boothbay Harbor.

In exchange for 20 hours of work per person a week you will be given a large site with a concrete pad.  Electric is included.  Hours will be flexible; we only ask that you arrive May 1 and stay for a minimum of 3 months but preferably all 6 months, and complete assigned jobs.  Work will consist of simple housecleaning of 2 bathhouses and a  small clubhouse/office, cleaning the pool daily, basic gardening and cleaning of debris, opening and closing the office and security gate, and running errands.  More detailed job description is available if interested.

We try to schedule our couples on the same shifts and have their days off together.  As this is retail, weekends are our busiest times but we can be flexible as needs arrise.
