Off-The-Grid Resort Seeking Maintenance/Massage/Front Desk Couple - Wilbur Springs, CA

We are seeking a skilled couple to join our resident staff on 2000 acres of off-the grid resort living in remote Northern California.

One half of the couple will be the Facilities Manager and the other half will be part-time Front Desk Staff and a Massage Provider.

The Facilities Manager works with a team of 3-4 groundsmen to maintain a 180 acre property which includes: a spring-fed swimming pool, dry sauna, natural mineral hot springs soaking baths, outdoor showers, 12 cabins, an 8 room lodge, main hotel building with commercial kitchen, community room and the adjacent 1800 acre nature preserve. Experience with spring fed water systems and large solar power systems is a big plus, but not necessary. Spanish language skills preferred.

The Massage Provider/Front Desk Staff half of the couple will split time between our lucrative massage provider program and 2 or 3 front desk reception shifts per week.

We are seeking a couple that is comfortable living in a remote low-electricity community-minded property. We are 45 minutes away from the closest grocery store or gas station, 2 hrs from  Sacramento and less than 3 hrs from San Francisco and Lake Tahoe.

Compensation package includes: private two-bedroom house, weekly laundry service, satellite internet, electricity, propane, water, sewer, trash, full use of the facility including: the nature preserve, hots springs, pools, sauna, hiking trails etc.

We offer exchange of FHU site 30 or 50 amp for hours worked. We are new owners of this park and this will be our 2nd full season. We are looking for people who are self motivated and yet can work as a team as needed.

We exchange a 30 amp site for 24 hours of work a week per couple and a 50 amp site for 30 hours per couple. We are flexible with hours and try to accomodate all as much as possible.

The Florida Keys Children's Shelter has an immediate opening in Key West for the position of House Parents. We are seeking COUPLES who do not currently have children of their own at home but have a dedication to helping children.

This position is responsible for the supervision and the facilitation of activities of residential clients of the agency. The position facilitates the intervention requested in the Service Plans regarding the care and development of residential clients with a focus on teaching age appropriate life skills. House Parents supervise the clients' daily living schedule and client chores. In addition, this position is directly responsible for the maintenance of the facility and assists in the upkeep of the program operation.
