We are looking for a Security/Office person or couple for the current 0ff-season at a small RV Campground. Duties may include cleaning restrooms and three small cabins, public relations, check- in, taking reservations, and communicating with tourists. Guests in the the Kanab, Utah area during the off season may ask about all the awesome beauty within minutes of our little town: Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, etc., and you will be providing directions and information to them. This is the slowest time of the year for us, so there will be a lot of down time. Mostly, you are just watching the park. You will be sharing the job with 2 other couples; therefore, on 3 days and off 6 days, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy that awesomeness.
This is not a paid position. You will be able to park your RV, and the owners will pay a portion of your electric bill. The off-season runs until April 1, but your out date is negotiable.

Responsibilities:

o Must possess extensive experience in utility maintenance including electric, water, sewer and septic systems, HVAC, and pumps.
o Salaried-exempt, full-time, year-round.
o In-season: 6-days per week (Approximately 48-60 hours), Off-season: 5-days per week (Approximately 40-48 hours per week).
o Must reside onsite or in the town of Urbanna, VA within minutes of the resort.
o BS degree or technical training in facilities and/or grounds maintenance.
o Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance or similar field, 5 of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional staff.
• Front Desk Manager
o The Front Desk Manager is responsible for providing a first-class guest experience for Front Desk and Camp Store of a large multi-faceted campground resort.
o Campground or hospitality experience preferred for supervising and training year-round and seasonal staff. Experience with Campground Manager or similar campground reservation software preferred.
o Salaried-exempt, full-time, year-round.
o In-season: 6-days per week (Approximately 48-60 hours), Off-season: 5-days per week (Approximately 40-48 hours per week).
o Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in hospitality or similar field, 2 of which were holding a supervisory experience.
• Cottage & Housekeeping Manager
o The Cottage Manager is responsible for scheduling, supervising, and training the housekeeping staff and ensures the cleanliness and readiness of all Resort facilities with a primary focus on rental cottages, bath houses, office spaces, & event facilities.
o Rental cottage, housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
