Levu, Fiji, is looking for an EXPERIENCED, motivated, professional ‘General Management Couple' from immediate for the long term.

The resort comprises of 12 Rooms/Bures (Fijian Bungalows) in 3 different room-categories, Restaurant & Bar, on-site Watersports/Padi Dive & Watersport Center and has a fleet 5 of boats with substantial infrastructure to enable watersports to the highest standard. The resort attracts surfers, scuba divers (groups), and adventure travelers, from individuals to couples, honeymooners, families and groups.
As the General Managers of the resort, you will be responsiblefor Managing All Operations on a daily basis, lead of course by: Guest Satisfaction & delivering a consistently great product.The resort has grown fast into an extremely successful BUSINESS and we are looking for experienced professionals with the expertise, skill sets and know-how to continue such growth and run an island resort business in all of its aspects - whilst constantly adapting the operation to be able to deliver against guest expectations and product development. Being a GREAT HOST and creating a friendly and passionate home-away-from-home atmosphere has and will always be critical for our resort. As such GM’s need to fit such an environment & ENJOY BEING SUPER HOSTS!
The job entails a ‘jack of all trades’ ability and the experience of being able to resolve ongoing problems fast and efficient, whilst ensuring continuous guest satisfaction. It is key to be a problem solver, great organizer and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize, as well as deal with the general ‘Island Mentality’ of a Pacific Island and Fiji. The job entails the successful management of a great team from local staff to expats, which is an absolute key for your success in running a smooth and successful operation.
In this role, you will lead the overall management of the daily resort operations including but not limited to Guest Relations & Activities, Front Office, Reservations, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Finance, Administration and Watersports. You will need to establish effective working relationships with owners and staff. One of the couple should have strong maintenance and repair know-how and ideally skills, whilst the other should have strong computer & administrative and Front-of-House skills and both should be willing to help out in all areas as and when required. Both need to be able to ‘think outside the box’ as the resort is in a somewhat remote location. Local and Expatriate Staff Management is an absolute key to success.
All watersports are key areas- lead by the highest level of surfing and scuba divingand both individuals should have a love & passion for the water. At least one of the couple should either be an experienced Dive Master or above or an (experience in the surf product is an advantage!) in order to relate to the guest experience and continue product delivery & development. Boat handling and outboard maintenance/repairs of boats is also a distinct advantage.
This is a hands on managerial role ideally suited to a highly professional, motivated, energetic, passionate, fit and healthy couple with great business, leadership, management & organizational skills, who wish to learn & grow and most importantly – RUN A BUSINESS !
Job Description (summary):
· To manage the resort in a sustainable and profitable manner and take full responsibility for all operations
· To deliver consistently high guest experiences across the board
· Be responsible for all legal aspects of the resort with regards to Hotel licensing, Immigration, Bookkeeping & Taxation and relationships with various chiefs and government/tourism officials
· Build effective working relationships with all staff - to achieve the resort's overall potential and objectives
· Oversee and suggest projects to improve the resort as well as taking care of the day to day operations
· Oversee all aspects of Repairs and Maintenance, including boats, compressors, generators etc…
· Maintain the highest standards of safety in all aspects of the resort's overall operation
· Coach, mentor, lead and motivate staff to ensure ongoing training and personal growth
· Managing Budgets, Finance & Accounting and following a business plan
Requirements:
· Strong experience/background in the tourism-hospitality industry & resort management
· Previous experience as a Resort Manager or General Manager, or in a similar role
· Previous experience working in the South Pacific or other remote island locations
· Sound knowledge of Computers, Windows Office (MYOB Accounting & Online-Booking Systems an advantage…)
· Strong Food and Beverage knowledge
· Strong background/connection to either scuba diving or surfing (or both) with passion for watersports
· Strong leadership and teamwork – ability to impart knowledge and skills to a team
· Experience in managing a local workforce is a definite advantage

Activity Director Couple Needed for Resort in the Rio Grande Valley Texas Area - Due to a last minute cancellation, we are in need of an Activity Director Couple to handle the Activities at our RV Resort in Pharr, Texas. The Activities for this year are already booked so you would be getting activities setup for next year while coordinating the actual activities for this Season.
The position needs to be filled immediately and will include a full hook-up site, utilities, and a small stipend for the couple. This is something that you could come back each year and do if that meets your plans.
Seasonal Cafe Partner - Salome, AZ

RV resort located in Salome, Arizona with 400+ RV and mobile home sites. Our busiest season is November 1 through March 31 of each year when our guests flock from north and east to get out of the cold. We are looking for an immediate partner to run the Black Rock Café, which is the only full service restaurant within the 20 miles radius of Black Rock and neighboring RV parks. With 1200+ additional adjacent neighboring camp sites, we are projecting a great profit margin with the right Café Partner.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced caterer to start a seasonal restaurant, for a retired chef to work for less than half of the year, or for an aspiring chef to run the full restaurant as owner/operator. The right candidate will have the opportunity to own the restaurant business after demonstrating his/her qualification as quickly as next year. The partner will be expected to:
· Hire, train, supervise, and schedule Café staff
· Ensure operational efficiency and quality in regards to planning menu, preparing food, providing service, employee management, and all aspects of restaurant operation.
· Maximize profit by business forecasting, budgeting food costs, plan inviting menus, minimizing waste, and enforcing reasonable portion and quality control.
· Maintain high safety and health standards with regular inspections and keep in accordance of codes
· Maintain an inviting and comfortable environment within and around the Café by controlling and maintaining cleanliness, lighting, sounds, linens, dinnerware, utensils, glassware, and food presentation
· Assist RV Village and its cafe’s marketing endeavor by taking advantage of educational and networking opportunities, continuously suggesting new ideas, and taking pride and ownership of this position.
The ideal candidate has:
· 3-5 years successfully managing a restaurant or catering business
· Project management skills and be able to maintain a full restaurant staff Takes pride in his/her work and has a can-do attitude
· Has excellent work ethics and enjoys being around people in a long-term RV/Camp type of community setting

Live-in Houseparent - Salt Lake Area, UT

We are hiring motivated, energetic and adventurous couples to work with troubled youth in a family-style setting. The couple would be responsible for the daily activities and schedule of the home as well as teaching the youth social skills.
