Property Care Taker (Couple) - Port Lavaca, Texas, TX

We are located on a back bay on the central Texas Gulf Coast.  We operate a 550 acre ranch with a lodge that we rent to duck hunters and fisherman for in season months and through airbnb weekend rentals for the remainder.  We run 100 head of cattle and manage three residential rental properties.  You can find us on Facebook under Some Beach Ranch.  

Job description:

Day to day property maintenance, lawn care, handyman type activities, feed cattle, minor fencing repairs, greeting lodge guest, cleaning lodge between guest arrivals and departures.  Cattle are worked by contact cowboys.

Generally, the owners for a period of one-two years plan to travel for 3-6 weeks and return for 2-4 weeks.  The owners would coordinate with the successful candidates such that they would have several weeks per year of off duty time.  

Great back bay sportsfishing.  Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin and Houston all within 3 hour drive.

Compensation:

Private lodging and all utilities provided.  In addition, a percentage of lodge income will be paid on quarterly basis, which should generate an additional $200-400/month.  It is estimated that the total management time will be 20-30 hours a week.

Timing will be the 4th quarter of 2017.  We will begin builidng the accomodations for the successful candidate.

This position is ideally suited for a retired couple looking for a 1-2 year asignment with longer term potential if the opportunity works for all parties.

Self Storage Management Couple - Granbury, TX

Self Storage management couple needed to live on site in Granbury, Texas 76049

We are looking for an energetic and motivated couple with a strong work ethic to live on site and manage the day to day operations of a mid-size self storage faility and Uhaul. The position requires the couple live on site. The couple will work together running the office and maintaining the upkeep of the property. Managers responsibilities will be renting units to new tenants, taking payments, processing move outs and lien auctions. Both must be computer literate and internet familiar. 

Managers will also be responsible for the safe keeping of all monies coming into facility and make regular deposits to the bank.  Successful managers will work proactively on marketing and advertising. Managers will communicate with owners on a regular basis. Property managers will be responsible for doing a security check in the morning and evening making sure that nothing looks distrubed or out of place and that units are generally secure. Managers will also maintain the cleanliness and neatness of all vacant units and the property in general, making sure that all trash and debris are removed, grass is cut and weeds are treated. A daily inspection would be required. Normal maintenance and upkeep is included.  All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screening.

Camp Hosts - Julian, CA

VINTAGE TRAILER PARK HOST COUPLE WANTED

Private vintage trailer park in rural San Diego mountains looking for live-in camp host couple.  Qualities desired:  suave, friendly, creative people with attention to detail (i.e. noticing broken water lines).  The park is for recreation purposes only – there are no full time residents (except hosts). 

This is a shared position so although hosts may live on-site full time, hosts will only need to be on-duty for two weeks at a time (two weeks on, two weeks off duty). Tasks include:  security rounds, stocking bathrooms, monitoring water system, being present at night should something arise (most of your time will be your own because other staff does management, repair and maintenance).  Pets allowed. Selected candidates must have their own trailer. Year-round trailer site and utilities are provided in exchange for minimal hosting responsibilities.  THIS IS AN UNPAID POSITION; however, during summer months limited paid work may be available onsite. JOB OPENING

Seeking a couple to become Resident Managers for a 484 unit locally family owned self storage facility.  Be team members in assisting to maintain and manage all areas of the storage facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBLITIES

Manage the rental office four(4) days a week from 9amto 7pm(10 hour days).

            Process payments (cash, checks, credit cards)

            Answer phone for inquires and payments

            Assist walk-in individuals with inquires and payments

            Complete rental agreements

            Enter new agreements or tenant updates in computer

            Process daily mail

            Keep common office areas clean and organized

            Compile daily end of day deposit and report

            Other office duties as requested (such as possible bank run)

Daily red lock management for tenants paying late (on days working office)

A minimum of once a day visual inspection of lot and all unit doors/locks

Conduct general light maintenance of storage facility as needed
