FEATURED JOB OPENING: Housekeeping Couple for Mountain Resort - Buena Vista, CO

Looking for energetic couple to maintain cleanliness of our beautiful, seasonal mountain resort located 8 miles West of Buena Vista, Colorado.  Months of operation are mid-May through late September.

Duties include cabin and house cleaning, daily trash collection and light maintenance. Other duties may be assigned by management. Housing is provided.

Who we are looking for: 

A working couple (no children, no pets), Friendly, outgoing, and understands that customer service is expected at all time.

A Couple that hopes to come back each summer with the possibility of moving up to the manager's job over time.

Responsibilities:

Start time is usually 9AM until around 3:30, although this can vary. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy days therefore days off will be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. A few times you will only have one day off but there will be time when you have three days off.

Main requirement is Cleaning Cabins with attention to detail and is required by both. Physically able to navigate stairs, lift vacuums etc.

Must be able to follow directions without supervision to complete jobs to our specifications.

Willingness to work as a team and help with other jobs if needed.

Housekeeping or janitorial experience a plus.

General labor and maintenance experience a plus.

Gift Shop and Office experience a plus.

A one bedroom 1 bath apartment is provided on the property.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour for every hour worked for the first 25 to 35 hours per week as housekeepers.

Extra hours in grounds work, maintenance or office if you want additional hours.

End of season bonus $700.00 each with good work record.

RANCH CARETAKING COUPLE NEEDED. This is a work/housing exchange in Telluride, Colorado. The ranch owner of 30 years is seeking a live/work exchange with a dynamic and experienced couple with no school-aged children to oversee ranch duties year-round.

In exchange for live/work rent, the Ranch Caretaker(s) shall perform daily/seasonal duties and responsibilities agreed upon, such as maintenance/repair of structures and machinery; snowplowing; general ranch work; gardening; housekeeping. Ranch vehicle provided. The caretaker(s) are estimated to work 15 - 20 hours per week. The ideal caretaking couple will regularly take initiative above routine tasks, be constantly driven to improve the land and facilities, with and without direct instruction.
