Responsibilities

Ensure full understanding of project scope to be able to design detailed project plans.

Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people and resources.

Execute projects from design, implementation, milestone follow-up, completion of data collection, storage, and presentation to project closure

Monitor project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan to implement corrective or preventative actions.

Work closely with internal multi-functional teams and external partners

Prepare and write scientific papers and case studies.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Agriculture / Plant / Molecular biology / Cellular biology and other related areas.

Pro-active mindset, ability to think end-to-end.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Extensive experience with managing complex projects.

Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.

Strong communication skills especially when interacting with different levels of business management.

Required Skills:

Expectations of Hours Worked When On-Duty

Expectation of hours worked when on-duty are as follows:

• HP’s are to report to work by 3:00pm, at the latest. 
• HP’s are to remain on-duty until 8:30am, or until all students in their care are in school and additional responsibilities have been completed.

 Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 4-year degree in related field or experience preferred
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills i.e. typing, e-mail

Physical Demands

• Regularly climbs stairs
• Regularly lifts or carries groceries/supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. 
• Some supervision may require standing for prolonged periods

Qualifications:

- At least one year of management experience in hospitality

Caretaker couple needed to work on a private, off-grid compound on the Georgia coast. Property is located within a national wildlife refuge and is only accessible by boat.

One member of the couple must be experienced handling a boat in tidal/coastal currents.

This is a year round position working alongside another caretaker couple. Caretakers are the only permanent residents on the island.

Duties include:

Ferrying guests to and from the island

Repair and maintenance of historic properties (6 homes plus outbuildings)

Operation and maintenance of boats, diesel generators, solar array, a small fleet of pickup trucks, grounds keeping equipment

Housekeeping services: turning over houses between guests, and seasonal deep cleaning of homes

Hospitality style interactions: transportation of guests’ luggage, groceries, etc.
