RV Park Operator/Hosts - Edmundston, NB
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
RV Park Operator/Host: Husband and wife team. Need not be experienced hosting, or experienced park operators, but do need to be experienced RV'ers, have pleasant interaction with guests, and able to turn a screwdriver when needed. Since park is in New Brunswick, Canada, must be Canadian, or have unrestricted right to work in Canada.
Duties:
Accept reservations by phone and email
Register guests, collecting fee and giving receipts
Usher guests to site, driving a golf cart
End of day - tallying receipts and nightly deposit to safe box.
Lawn mowing – lawn tractor, zero turn, and compact tractor with finish mower
Lawn trimming - Honda 4 cycle with vest carry.
Clean bathrooms - check daily, a thorough clean weekly
Vendors (plumbing, electrical, etc.) are proven, know we pay promptly, and are ready to spring in to action to quickly solve any problems for which you need help.
This is a 60 site, riverside RV park (www.riversidervpark.ca) with a loyal following of satisfied customers. Our guests are typically transients.
We offer you:
1) Full hook-ups RV site including Wi-Fi and cable TV
2) CAD$400 a week salary (combined), based on 14 week season, plus
3) CAD$1,000 total bonus (combined), when you work & complete the full 14 week season
I will open the park with you. Working side-by-side, we will get everything turned on, or turned off, and ready to go. I will be available immediately to you, 24 hours a day by phone.
In 2017, you will report for work May 25 and will complete work, end of day, August 31.

- Assist in formulating the community’s annual operating and capital budgets and implement programs designed to achieve the community’s financial, operating, and resident services goals.
- Provide competitive market research, analysis, and recommendations on revenue management.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, remodeling, and/or construction projects for the community, in conjunction with other departments.
- Produce timely and accurate administrative, accounting, and other reports.

Live -in Housesitter needed for Lakefront vacation home on ******** Lake. Non-Paying job. Job duties include light housekeeping, lawn mowing, light landscaping for a live-in couple or individual.
The home is 8200 sq. ft. 7 bedroom with a pool, tennis court and dock directly on ******** Lake. A complete remodel was completed from 2013 to 2015.
The location is approximately 15 minutes from ****** Kentucky, rated as one of the top places to retire and home to *********** University. There is also a small airport in ******.
Detailed job duties include:
- Mowing and trimming the lawn which is approximately 3 acres of which 1 acre is wooded and not mowed. There is a small vineyard on the property. Lawn care equipment is furnished.
- Light landscaping duties taking care of the existing landscaping.
- Light housekeeping duties: dusting, vacuuming, washing linens and towels after owner visits. Owners visit periodically throughout the year, primarily on weekends. Frequency varies from 10 to 15 times per year but may exceed that amount.
- Care of dock
- Maintenance of swimming pool which is minimal since it has a salt sanitizing system and automatic pool cover.
- Maintenance of full size tennis court which is also minimal
Caretaker(s) are responsible for paying their own utilities. Although the home is large there are 5 separate zones so that utility use can be minimized. Caretaker quarters are located in the basement level that has two bedrooms, full kitchen, living area and bath with walk-in shower. The lakeside wall is entirely made up of full length patio doors and looks out over the swimming pool with a sweeping view of ******** Lake.
15 minutes from the home is a 70 acre tract of land that the caretaker(s) can also use. This tract of land has abundant wildlife and a stream that runs through it year round.
