FEATURED JOB OPENING: Campground Janitorial Couples - Mears, MI

Couples to Maintain Campground:  Restrooms, Outdoor Heated Pool & Laundry Room.  Two couples needed for two rotatig shifts (8:00 am - 3:30 pm  & 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm) with 2 consecutive days off.

Restrooms       While rotating shifts with another couple, you would be performing these duties all in one location.  There are not multiple buildings throughout the park.  The womens side of the restroom has 5 shower stalls and 6 toilet stalls; mens has 5 showers stalls, 5 toilet stalls & 2 waterless urinals.  Cleaning the restrooms would involve frequent periodic checks during your shift and cleaning where and when necessary.  We have a once a week 'super cleaning' day for a very thorough cleaning.

Swimming Pool       The pool measures 20' x 40' and has a half-bath within the pool area.  The morning shift's work would include rolling up the solar cover that the evening shift placed when they closed the pool, cleaning and vacuuming before the pool opens at 10:00 am, periodic testing of pool chemicals and adding them when needed.  You are not to be life guards.  However, if you see behavior tht conflicts with our rules, you are expected to address the issue or bring it to the office's attention if necessary.

Laundry Room       The laundry room concists of 3 washers and 4 dryers and a folding table.  You would be wiping down the machines of excess detergent, softener, dust & dirt, emptying waste baskets & filters, and keeping the floor swept and clean.

Compensation       Full hookup 50 amp RV site, WiFi, monthly electric and weekly laundry allowance, 2 consecutive days off per week, salary with a $1000 completion bonus.

Each couple is supplied with a golf cart.  It will be your responsibility to keep it looking clean.  When driving around the park (at our 5 mph posted speed), we ask that you pick up any bagged leaves and grass clippings left at the road's edge by or seasonal/permanent campers.  Then you will dispose of them onto our compoast pile.

Two-thirds of the park's campsites are seasonal sites with the majority of these campers using their own bathroom facilities.  The remaining 70 sites for overnight stays would be using the bathhouse.  A large number of overnight campers are repeat customers.  And one of the main reasons for their yearly return is due to how great the bathhouse & pool have always been kept.  Of course, they also very much appreciate how friendly and generously helpful the entire staff is, too.

Our slower times durig the season are from early May thru md-June and the latter part of August thru the end of September; with the exception of Memorl Day & Labor Day weekends.

General Manager/Innkeeper Couple - Santa Cruz, CA

Boutique hotel located on the beautiful Monterey Bay in Northern California is seeking a General Manager/ Innkeeper couple.  This is a full-time, live-in year round position.

The ideal couple applicant has hotel experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, enjoys interacting and caring for guests, has excellent computer skills, honest, self-motivated, energetic, organized, can multi-task and is ready, willing and able to perform handyman tasks.

This is a hands-on position. Duties include, but are not limited to: rate management, social media marketing, front desk operations, reservations (phone and online), conflict resolution, prepare and set out continental breakfast, ordering supplies, manage housekeeping staff, laundry (towels & blankets only - service for other linens), lawn care, gardening, minor general maintenance - all with a “can do!” attitude.

Basically we are looking for someone with an owner’s mentality - we want you to treat our hotel like you own it!

RV RESORT south of Branson, MO, rated 10/10/10 is looking for several #10’s to help with the 2017 season. Positions available include gardening and landscaping, housekeeping for a clubhouse and 2 bathhouses, pool and spa cleaning, trash collection and policing of public areas for cleanliness and neatness, guest check-in and escorting, event decorating, preparation and clean-up. A paved site with golf cart is provided for 32 hours of work per week per site.
