Campground Park Host Position Available in Ocotillo Wells, California.

Single or couple park hosts needed January 2017 through May 2017. Hosts provide 20 hours of service per week in exchange for RV site and full hook-ups.

Office duties include making reservations, answering phone calls and e-mails, helping customers, enforcing rules, assisting with events, cleaning office, working on computer (campground master), running a cash register, and more. Computer, accounting and customer service experience preferred.

Maintenance duties include cleaning and maintaining campground, sites, pool and spa area, restrooms and showers, helping customers, escorting guests to sites, taking vehicle information, enforcing rules, assisting with events, and more. Handyman experience preferred.

Our RV Park is located in the beautiful Southern California desert community of Ocotillo Wells. We are 30 minutes East of Julian, 20 minutes from Borrego Springs on Highway 78, and 90 miles to San Diego. We offer 185 full-hookup 70’x30’ sites. Amenities include café and store, special events, clubhouse, community fire pit, exit for off-road vehicles, washers, dryers, showers, restrooms, pool and spa.

Across the highway is the Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area; a popular spot with off-roaders. Area attractions include Discovery Center, RC Vehicle Trail, Amphitheater, Blowsand Hill, Devil’s Slide, Barrel Springs, Shell Reef, Pumpkin Patch, Gas Domes, Artesian Well, Wind Caves, and more.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Work Campers for Seasonal Special Needs Camp Facilities/Kitchen/General - Williams, AZ

This is only a seasonal job at this time, but possibility of full time in the future.

Each person works an average of 25 hours per week in exchange for RV site space and utilities, 15 hours of which would also be compensated at $10.00 per hour per person per week.  Must be a US citizen and finger print clearance card, valid drivers’ license and clean driving record. Some trainings will be held on site (first aid, cpr, behavior management, med training, all qualifications for DDD/DES employment.)

Since 1968, Camp Civitan has served as the only special needs camp in Northern Az , the gateway to the Grand Canyon. Each summer we provide the best camping experiences for both children and adults in our residential camp situated on 15 acres. The position will include a broad range of duties to include: grounds, janitorial-housekeeping, laundry, administration, kitchen –cooking-prep, administration, retail, and various other duties. Each week the camp is filled with approximately 50 campers, 35 direct care staff, support staff and 20 youth volunteers. We need a mature couple to help facilitate many daily duties and assist the Camp Director and other staff with smooth operations and help be an extension of our team.  Big hearts a must!

Domestic Couple - TribeCa NY - New York, NY

Private family looking for a live in or live out couple for their multi story residence in Manhattan. 
This is a new position and is year round with very limited if any travelling. We are looking for a professional couple with similar prior work experience as a couple, who have great work ethics, can-do attitudes, a nice energy, work well with other staff and know how to maintain boundaries. 

Principles have 3 college age kids (who are there occasionally on weekends) plus one at home so it can sometimes be a very busy household. They also like to entertain regularly.

Duties include driving, handyman skills, detailed cleaning, laundry, stocking supplies, assisting chef with prep work and parties plus whatever else comes up to assist a busy family. 
 
The family has a full time chef and a weekend housekeeper.
 
Must have NYC savvy for driving and love dogs!
 
Hours are Monday – Friday 8am-6pm with occasional extended hours when entertaining.

Maintenance/Janitorial - Silver Lake (Mears), MI

Camp Ground Couple Position Maintaining:  Bathhouse/Restrooms, Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool & Laundry Room  (w/ 2 consecutive days off)Shifts Times:  (8:00 am - 3:30 pm)  &  (3:30 pm - 11:00 pm)  w/ 2 Consecutive Days Off per week

Bathhouse     While rotating shifts with a second couple, you would be cleaning and maintaining one bathhouse, swimming pool, and laundry room; which are all in one location.  The womens side of the bathhouse has 5 shower stalls and 6 toilet stalls;  the mens has 5 shower stalls and 5 toilet stalls & 2 urinals.  Cleaning the bathhouse would involve periodic checks during your shift and cleaning where and when necessary.  We have once a week 'super cleaning' day for a very thorough cleaning.

Swimming Pool     The pool measures 20' x 40' and has a half-bath within the pool area.  The morning shift's work would include rolling up the solar cover, cleaning & vacuuming before the pool opens at 10:00 am, periodic testing of pool chemicals; adding them when needed.  You are not to be life guards.  However, if you see something that conflicts with our rules, you are expected to address the issue.

Laundry Room      The laundry room consists of 3 washers and 4 dryers and a folding table.  You would be wiping down the machines of excess detergent, softener, dust, emptying the filters, and keeping the floor swept and clean.

Each couple is supplied with a golf cart.  It is your responsibility to keep it looking clean.  When driving around the park, we ask that you pick up any bagged leaves and grass clippings left at the road's edge by our seasonal campers.  You will dispose of them onto our compost pile.

Two-thirds of the park's campsites are seasonal sites with the majority of these campers use their own bathroom facilities.  The remaining 70 sites for overnight stays would be using the bathhouse.  A large number of overnight campers are repeat customers.  One of the main reasons for their return is due to how great the bathhouse & pool have always been kept.  Of course, they also very much appreciate how friendly and helpful the staff is, too.

Our slower times during the season are from early May thru mid-June and the latter part of August thru the end of September; with the exception of Memorial Day &  Labor Day weekends.

Couple Needed for Maintenance/Domestic help at a Farm Summer Camp - Apex , NC

We are looking for an energetic couple who are trustworthy, pro-active and self-motivated.   We are a summer day camp program based on our 12-acre farm. There are dozens of children around Monday - Friday, so you must enjoy being around children, even though you won't be personally responsible for any of the camp children.  We are located two miles down the road from Jordan Lake, the 3rd largest lake in North Carolina.

Must love working outdoors in the hot and humid North Carolina weather.
