Independent Senior Living Community Management Team
We are looking for Management Teams (an opportunity to work with your spouse, partner, or committed relationship sharing a provided One Bedroom Apartment) to work as part of a 2 person team. As part of our unique operating style, we have 4 managers that work as part of a 2 person team. Each team works a schedule of one week on (7 days, 24 hours on site) and one week off. The open position is for a two person Management Team.
The position is similar to an apartment manager. The difference is that in serving our senior residents, managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operation of our community, sales and marketing, active involvement in community activities and events to enhance resident satisfaction, assist with daily meal service,
Qualifications include: Previous management experience, prior experience serving senior citizens, computer competency, and willingness to live on-site and be on-call during scheduled duty periods. This is an active, hands-on position. Since we have a 4 manager team concept, we take advantage of the talents and skills of each manager to serve our residents. For example, some managers are great with resident activities, some are great at sales and marketing, some are very handy and can perform maintenance tasks, some are good cooks and can take an active role in our dining program, plus many more opportunities—we will use your abilities in service to our residents.

Most managers live on-site, even when not on duty, to take advantage of the additional benefit of not paying rent and utilities. Other managers have their own home and spend their off time at their personal residence.

Chef & Lodge Coordinator Needed - Syringa, ID

Chef: Imagine a summer spent on the Clearwater River of central Idaho where you are the creative energy of our kitchen! Our family-run resort is looking for an honest, energetic chef to cook at our log cabin resort located 90 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho and 120 miles west of Missoula, Montana. This is a full time position from about April 20 to mid-October. If you are creative and know how to prepare healthy northwest regional cuisine you should apply.
We serve lunch and dinner for cabin guests and the general public. We also serve a continental breakfast buffet to cabin guests (only) and prepare lunches to go for our rafting trips and other outdoor adventures. Our kitchen staff is small - you and another full time cook.
We do not appreciate chefs with big egos and tempers. We love chefs that create delicious food, respect the entire staff and our strong team players. Every year our menus are updated based on the skills of the chef we hire.
Lodge Coordinator: This position involves helping the general manager with a variety of duties including housekeeping, serving in our dining room, simple cooking, checking in guests and attending to their needs and being an all-around smiling host! If you have positive energy and enjoy hard work in a beautiful setting, we want to hear from you.
Previous experience in the hospitality business, including both Housekeeping and Restaurant. Some cooking experience is a plus. Strong communication skills required. Strong computer skills and experience operating a reservation management system and a POS system are also required. Must have a professional attitude and be willing to learn and accept new ideas. Initiative is highly valued. The position requires someone who smiles easily and will provide superlative guest service.
Our Lodge features 8 log cabins, 3 glamping tents, campgrounds, onsite restaurant guided outdoor activities. It’s an ideal place if you want to go biking, hiking, fishing, tubing and more. Free raft trips provided as an extra perk as well as use of outdoor equipment.
We are a small staff of 7-8 and are a family-run, socially responsible business. Our location is wilderness and not good for night life and parties. Both positions call for talent, experience, motivation and strong team players. Compensation includes salary, plus room and board.
Please note that we provide same sex bunkhouse style accommodations for individuals and that a nearby rental cabins is available to couples, but is not included in the job offer.

work camper couple - Rockport, TX

We are currently looking for a couple to work as work campers at our park starting March 1, 2017. Looking for long term but can use seasonal workers. We are a 100 site park that sits right on the coastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The duties we ask of our work campers are as follows:
Woman: work in office, answering phones, taking reservations, checking customers in and out (we use campground master software), collecting money for the site rentals. Light office and rec room cleaning.
Men: Helping the guest get parked in their sites, cleaning restrooms (both with showers), cleaning laundry room, Mowing and weed eating. (must be physically able to weed eat). General light maintanance. On duty for 2 days off for 4 days.
Compensation is site plus utilities which includes cable and wifi and $40 per month in quarters for your laundry.
