Work at a beautiful family oriented resort with a trout lake in the middle of the San Isabel National Forest. Local activities include fishing, horseback riding, rafting, canoeing, high country hiking, biking and mountain climbing just to name a few. The wildlife is amazing and the weather pleasant with averages of 74/49 degrees with basically no humidity. The lake has been here since 1929 and most of the visitors are repeat guest that love the resort like it is their own.

Job Requirements:

Preform housekeeping duties with the lead housekeeping couple that live on property. Applicants must be physically fit, able to navigate stairs to cabins, and two-story units on property. The work is not hard just steady. We have a total of 26 units and the cleaning depends on how many check outs on any given day. Start time is usually between 9 and 10am with finish by 3, although this can vary. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy days so expect day/days off on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. We will always try to give you the same days off but might have to ask you to split them on occasion during peak season.

Housekeeping is the number one job with willingness to assist with other jobs as needed; such as lending a helping hand to the maintenance man, grounds work or working a shift in the office when needed. We want workers that take pride in their work, are self-starters and can follow directions without the need to be micro-managed.

Job Description:

Should have experience in housekeeping/cleaning/janitorial service of some kind. General office skills or light maintenance work a bonus. Applicants must be flexible and willing to perform any and all jobs ask. The majority will be housekeeping. But there may be occasions when general grounds work or light maintenance work is requested.

Gracious hospitality and customer service is vital to fulfilling this position. We always want to remember that our guest are on vacation and we want them to have positive memories of their time with us at the resort.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, should be fluent in English, a USA Citizen, non-smoker, non-drinkers, and non-drug users. Background check will be performed.

Children or pets are no permitted to accompany parents/owners to work. 

Compensation:

We offer hourly pay plus housing allowance.

The pay rate is $10.00 per hour per employee with 30 hours per week guaranteed (that equals $2400.00 per month/per couple guaranteed). Additional hours are compensated at the same rate.

Housing Allowance:

A monthly housing allowance of 600.00 will be provided upon the completion of each month worked. (Example - May's housing allowance will be paid on June 1st.)

Applicants with an RV - We have an RV pad site reserved in town. The RV Park is eight miles from the resort, is very nice and clean, with laundry, bath house and the opportunity for social activities with the other park residents. The Park owners are very friendly and easy to get along with.The RV Park allows one pet per pad site. They do not allow you to leave your pet alone while you are at work and you will not be permitted to bring any pets onto the resort property. We abide by the same rules as our guest and we have a "no pet policy" at the resort.

End of Season Bonus:

If you work from May 1 thru August 31, 2017 and have a good work record you will receive a $500.00 bonus per person.

Rio Valley Estates, a 55+ MH and RV resort is looking for a full-time assistant manager couple. Couple must qualify for the 55+. One will work in the office alongside the manager. Must have computer experience. Campground Master a plus but not required.

The other will work outside of the office closely with 2 full-time employees. Also will work alongside the manager completing necessary tasks that will enhance the value of the resort. Some experience in carpentry, electricity, and plumbing a plus but also not a requirement. Good customer service is a plus. Backcountry Restaurant - Yellow Pine, ID

Our business is a family owned and operated restaurant in Yellow Pine, Idaho. We  are surrounded by the amazing mountains of Central Idaho, along the East Fork of the South Fork of the Salmon River, surrounded by public lands and wilderness on all four sides. 

We are looking for help thru the summer months, housing provided for the right folks. Main responsibilities would be cooking and serving, beer and wine only, no hard alcohol. Salary is negotiable. Shifts would be three to four days a week so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the area.

The environment is a remote town in Idaho, arguably the most remote in the lower 48. Yellow Pine is situated just shy of 5000' elevation, summer days can be hot but nights cool significantly. Summer and fall are our busy season with year round business beginning to pick up with the mine and recreational activities. Hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking... you name it and this is an incredibe place to do it.
