Live-in Caretaker and Ambassador - Maple Ridge, BC

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and self-directed couple with a positive attitude for the position of live-in caretaker and forest ambassador. The caretaker is responsible for being on-site during all non-office hours (4pm until 8am weekdays; all weekends and holidays).

We are located in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The caretaker position includes the residency of a 3 bedroom 1 bath home, electricity and natural gas, one lockable garage space and a monthly stipend.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Being on site and providing security during all non-office hours

·         Interacting with the public on an ongoing basis

·         Acting as a point of contact for any emergencies or incidents outside of office hours                                                                                                                     

·         Maintaining the caretaker residence and performing light repair work as needed

·         Performing all required grounds keeping duties around the caretaker house, office and arboretum

·         General maintenance of the public parking lots and the entrance gates

Requirements:

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Excellent customer service and communication skills

·         Ability to work with minimal direction

·         Strong project follow through

·         Ability to pass a criminal background check

·         Authorized to work in Canada

·         Fluent English, written and spoken, ability to use email

·         Non-smoker

·         Neat, clean and organized

·         Must be able to live on-site, and position requires two people living in the residence

Assets (not required):

·         Background in security

·         Security training course(s)

·         Experience with small 2 cycle engines

·         Skid Steer or Fork Lift experience and training

·         Wildland fire fighting experience

·         First aid OFA Level One certification

·         Chainsaw certification and experience

Park Attendant with the USACE - Old Hickory, TN

We are looking for a retired couple to join our family ASAP to help around the campground in excange for a 30 amp campsite, Internet, use of laundry facilities and campground amenities.

The job would be, Cleaning, gardening and other odd jobs. We are next to a State Park. We have 20 acers of wooded campsites. We rent tubes, kayaks and canoe's to go down the Ichetucknee springs river. 

CAMP HOSTS WANTED - Mesquite, NV

We are looking for one organized and friendly couple or partners to fill our camp host position! Camp host live on site (we do not supply living quarters so you must own your own RV - maybe able to work something out if we find the right candidates), check in customers and oversee certain aspects of the RV park. RV Couple for Housekeeping/Laundry and Maintenance/Grounds Maintenance - Pinedale, WY

Looking for an RV couple to fill their Maintenance and Housekeeping positions for the Summer 2017 season. Responsibilities include general maintenance of lodge, restaurant, eight guest cabins, boats, landscaping and grounds maintenance. Knowledge of refrigeration and other kitchen equipment is a plus.  Housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning, care and turnover of eight guest cabins, laundry for cabins and for the restaurant and kitchen.

Full RV hook-ups included as well as a salary. Season would run from mid-May thru mid-September and includes opening work to get ready for the season as well as closing work and winterizing in the fall.

Looking for a responsible, reliable couple to give us a hand here at the Whistling Elk Ranch. Whistling Elk Ranch, a working ranch comprised of over 5,000 acres of mixed-use land, including hay, livestock, including elk and bison. Also offers though cabin rentals along with some seasonal activities.

Housekeepers primary job would be to keep our seven cabins, public areas, offices and such sparkly clean. Some light office work at times, some light yard work. Cooking experience a plus, not a must though. Handymans time would be spend primarily taking care of things around the ranch needing some attention. Lawn care and helping the housekeeper with things requiring an extra set of hands. Cheerful and friendly attitude a must. Serious inquiries only please. A valid drivers license is required. Housing is provided in the form of a small apartment suitable for two folks on the ranch. All utilities paid. $11 per hour, 40 per week, per employee, during our busy season. (May-Oct and Dec-Feb) 20 hours each in our off season.
