As a member of the property management team on site(s), the key responsibilities of the Team of 2 Superintendents include but are not limited to:

• Performing various building maintenance and repairs;
• Respond to after business hours & weekend emergency calls (on a rotational basis)
• Perform general cleaning, landscaping and snow removal where services are not met or performed by contractor;
• Processing, completing work orders and returning closed work orders;
• Garbage bin removal to proper pick up area two times per week or as directed;
• Administration of spare parts and supplies;
• Plaster, drywall, paint, plumbing, electrical and carpentry as required;
• Garbage removal, repairs, and cleaning of vacant units,
• Other assignments within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as reasonable requested from time to time by management.

Desired Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, both candidates must possess the following combination of education, experience and skills:

• High school education at minimum. Additional educational or trades courses an asset,
• 2 or more years of property maintenance work experience (sound knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating, repairs, etc).
• Knowledge and expertise with hand and power tools,
• Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 25 kilos, and work at heights on ladders,
• Maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy as well as positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team,
• Have a valid G driver’s license (nice to have).
• Familiarity with building mechanical systems is also required.
• Capable in delivering notices to residents in a timely manner as directed by Property Manager;
• PO and Work Order processing;
• Proficient computer skills - MS Office.

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and caring individual or couple. We have been in business for over 12 years and recently opened an Independent Senior Living Apartment Complex. This is a 24 room, 3 floor with elevator building. We are currently hiring for a couple, (roommates) or responsible single adult to move in to the home to provide building management and oversight over the residents.

We provide a brand new 2 bedroom apartment, complete with fridge, and dishwasher. We provide cable, all utilities, internet, laundry facility, and all dinner meals. We also offer a competitive salary based on the occupancy of the building, up to 29,000 a year for just salary compensation ($100 per month per resident). This is a great job for a couple who maybe retired, or a younger couple where 1 spouse works full time and the other resides at the complex, but has the support and assistance of the spouse if needed. The apartment value is $1200-1400 per month based on market rates. Utilities and other added values plus rent is equal to $20,000 - $25,000 value or saving to the couple per year.

The manager is responsible for;

Showing the apartments, explaining contracts, collecting deposits, rents, and other fees, new move in check list, and move out check lists.

Cooking and serving dinner daily, plan menu, and shop for groceries.

Keep Common areas clean and tidy.

Arrange activities for residents to do at the facility.

Transport Residents to MD office, grocery store, and other places per their contract.

Cleaning rooms upon the resident leaving the home, to prepare for another resident.

Handle residents complaints or issues. Forward maintenance issues to appropriate people.

Arrange Volunteers to visit and do activities with the residents.

Keep family members, and nursing staff of the resident informed at all times.

Manage CNA, Housekeeping, Cooking and Landscaping Staff (with be hired once occupancy reaches a greater level).

Orientate Family of new resident paperwork, and collect monthly rents. Invoicing, and record keeping needed.

Deliver receipts and monies to main office monthly.

Check on residents regularly, respond to call button night or day.

camp host - Downieville, CA

Would you like to work and play in California’s Tahoe National Forest?  We are a small resort with five cabins and five RV spaces located along the North Yuba River just outside of Downieville in Northern CA.

We are seeking an energetic couple to help us during the upcoming season, starting in May 15 and ending October 15. 

The ideal couple will clean cabins, help with light maintenance work and have excellent guest relations.  The position comes with an RV site with full hook-up, all utilities included, right on the river! 

Compensation is $200 per week for about 20 hours of work per week. 

Work schedule varies according to the guest bookings. If you enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing or just being outdoors, come and explore this wonderful area.
