Campground managers - Tetsa River valley (118km north of Fort Nelson, BC), BC

We have been in existance for over 40 years.  We are looking for a hard working couple who enjoy the gorgeous BC Rockies, the outdoors lifestyle and who are flexible to help wherever needed!  The couple must have their own RV for living (all hookups are included in position).

Duties for managing the campground:

• Lawn + property maintenance
• Campsite maintenance (30 camp/RV sites)
• Cleaning/housekeeping of 5 cabins and public washrooms
• Greeting /siting campers and handling money
• Cafe and giftshop help when needed

Position timeframe/salary:

June 1st to September 1st

Salary is dependant upon experience.

Other considerations:

We are located 1 1/2 hours from a town so one must be self sufficient and small expecttions for Internet as it is lousy. The water here is beautiful and the air is clean :)

Prefer that there are not more than one small pet as the campground is full of tourists with pets which can cause challenges.  The toursit season is extrememly busy from early morning to night...every single day during the season.

Housekeeper and grounds keeper on small hobby farm - Orlando, FL

Looking for a mature couple as a team on our small hobby farm ranch.   One person would clean home and assist with laundry as well clean porches and can assist partner.  Ourside job includes lawncare, grass, weeds, weed eathing, edging, hedges, trees, fertilizer, run kuobota, clean barn,  assist in animal care. 

We have 3 horses, 6 zebu cow, chickens, peafowl, turkey ect.  Must be comfortable around large animals and have back ground of working with  horses.   Full time live in. Working Couple for 31 unit NH Lakes Region Motel and Cottages

We are looking for a couple to live on site in 3 bedroom managers houaw and provide front desk solution, assistant management support, and  yardwork/gardens, light maintenance, and some head housekeeping assistance depending on which scenario below you may be interested.

We are looking for couple who understands this business is 24/7. We don’t expect that. We are dividing up the workload to ensure time to live and enjoy. A couple is a team, we expect the team to work together. Phones are portable and so is the doorbell. You will not be a slave to the desk (although some days, yep, you will).

Depending upon which scenario below you are interested, you will have two consecutive days or one day off. The season is relatively short with a busy summer.

We are looking for tinkerers and putters. People who take pride and get it done.

This is an ideal position for someone who wants to work and play in New England in the summer and winter in Florida or south in the winter.

Scenario One - Desk and Maintenance / Yard Work - 2 consecutive days off

First the Reponsibilies

Management

1. Must have hotel/motel experience. It is a short season and we want someone able to get right into it. Someone who is already familiar with standard policies, such as cancellation, no shows, additional guests and other misc fees, etc. As we said, familiar with the business.
2. As the onsite manager you will ensure guest behavior, deal with any small maintenance issues that may come up, and provide general help as needed

Yardwork / gardens

1. Mow and weed whack property once per week or as needed

2. General grounds maintenance

3. Take care of flower gardens and planters

Light maintenance

1. Light bulbs, toilet issues, blown breakers/fuses

2. General things to get guest back going

3. We will be doing painting all season, so helping here and there with painting

House keeping assistance

1. Helping ensure high quality cleaning

2. Helping as necessary, we will have full housekeeping staff, but you never know about those super busy days

3. Maybe a little laundry help here and there

4. Basically helping if needed – we have full staff again, but you never know

Skills Required

1. Office / Computer / Reservation system

   1. We really want someone who is familiar with computers. Familiar with reservation systems. We use InnRoad-InnKeeper. It is important to understand the business and be familiar with computer programs. If you are comfortable with computers it is easy to bounce around and learn new software. It is a short season and you need to learn and be up to speed quickly.

   2. Typing

   3. Good phone and communication skills / etiquette

   4. Use text messaging

   5. Confidence

2. Maintenance and yard work

   1. Basic handyperson skills

   2. Know how to keep plants/flowers alive and green

   3. Able to use yard equipment – mower and blower

   4. Trash out 2x per week to roadside – we use trash cans and they need to get out twice a week early (can be up to 20 on worst case busy times)

   5. Pool chemistry and vacuum (easy to learn

3. Housekeeping - again, this is more as needed, but must be able to clean, laundry, and help maintain high cleaning quality

Live-in Domestic Couple in Southampton - New York City, NY

A family based in NYC with a seasonal home in Southampton is looking for a Domestic Couple for their Southampton home.  The schedule is Thursday to Monday, live in.  An apartment on site is provided for the couple.

Duties to include cooking, all housekeeping, laundry, inventories, pantry stocking, scheduleing, maintaining outside areas, working in a team, flower arranging, preparing for large parties and all serving duties. Both candidates must drive as they will be required to take care of personal errands, groceries, dry cleaning and pick up and drop offs. Should have the initiative to know what is needed without direction, have a stellar work ethic and a high level of attention to detail. Must have extensive previous experience working as a couple in a formal home. 

A couple would work together managing a Cemetery - Dallas, TX

Cemetery Manager would live on site in a 2 bedroom house/office.plus receive a salary.

The Cemetery Manager is responsible for funeral arrangements, selling burial plots and headstone monuments.

Additional duties include supervising groudskeeper and maintaining office records.

Proficiency with Internet and basic business applications(MS-office, Google Docs)

Must have ability to show compassion to grieving families.  Spanish would be helpful.
