FEATURED JOB OPENING: Resident General Managers - Livingston, MT

We are looking for a professional live-in management team to run a 23-room motel located in the beautiful Park County in the Yellowstone Tourism Region of SW Montana. The motel business is the hospitality business. The management team's job is to take care of the customer - while keeping the property profitable, maintained and clean.

Motel Operations

Assist with laundry and housekeeping
Assist managing inventory
Work with vendors and suppliers
Follow all state and federal health codes

Guest Relations

Manage all elements of the front desk - taking reservations, checking guests in and out
Assisting guests
Answering phones 
Manage OTA (Booking.com and Expedia.com) reservations

Staff Management
Hiring and managing staff
Follow all state and federal employment laws
Inspecting what is expected in the rooms to keep quality standards high
Manage staffing schedule
Staff annual reviews

Sales and Marketing
Calling on companies that are doing projects in the area, solicit their business
Calling on companies that have stayed with us previously, solicit their business 
Negotiating rates
Daily Facebook, Twitter and Google Posts (can be prescheduled)

Bookkeeping

Manage all direct billing invoicing and receivables
Manage monthly OTA reconciliations (Booking.com & Expedia.com)
Daily deposits
Manage motel on budget
Daily reporting to owners

Maintenance

Regular room inspections

Manage regular maintenance requirements

Manage hiring appropriate professionals when needed (plumbers, electricians)
Keep grounds maintained, grass watered and mowed, bushes trimmed
Regular room maintenance, including, but not limited to: 
Replace batteries in smoke detectors
Clean carpets
Touch up paint
Clean ceilings
Check for any plumbing issues (slow drains)
Clean A/C filters

Qualifications:

• Hospitality experience preferred but not required

• Must be computer literate - Office, Google Docs, learn reservation POS

• Good communication skills and customer service oriented mind

• Self motivated and an entrepreneurial spirit

• Applicants must be able to work in a team environment and be a self-motivated.

• Non-smokers and no drugs

Compensation:

• Negotiable salary

• Performance bi-annual bonuses

• Housing included

• Utilities paid by motel (garbage, cable, water, sewer, telephone, internet)

• After 1 year, you earn 4 week paid vacation
