Full-time position available for a friendly and professional "Go-Getter" Couple to manage self storage facility operations. As the property manager, you will be responsible for leasing, marketing, rent collection and cost control. Success in this position will require a high level of drive, salesmanship, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Operating the office during normal working hours 
- In-person sales
- Answering telephone inquiries (telephone sales)

We are insearch of a work camper(s) to help in our office on the weekends in exchange for a FHU site.

Extra hours are available for pay. All of our sites are pull-thru with electric, water, sewer, WiFi and cable. Duties would include checking people in and assigning sites, light cleaning in the office area, very light maintenance (checking and changing breakers) on the weekends.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Personal Caregiver/Property Maintenance and Gardner - Northern New Mexico, NM

We are looking for a couple with excellent references and experience to provide care, companionship, and general home and garden management for our 89 year old mother. She lives in her beautiful log home on our ranch located about 30 miles north of Las Vegas, NM.

She is physically capable of conducting most of her daily living tasks. She is mentally sharp as a tack and is witty and engaging. She originally comes from South Africa. She requires some physical asistance. She enjoys social interaction and watching sports and news. She is a fine cook (she now requires assistance with the cooking and cleaning) and is pleased to provide cooking instruction. On occasion (2-3 times per month) , she hosts family or friends for a meal.

She has a beautiful sunroom with a small pool and gardens which require care and upkeep. She has 2 mature dogs, which require twice daily walks. The ranch (which is managed by her son and his wife, who live about a mile from Mom) is beauthiful and it has abundant wildlife. While the couple is welcome to enjoy the nature, they will not be responsible for ranch work (unless they are interesed and time permits). The primary duties for the personal caregiver and the maintenance provider are as follows:

MAIN DUTIES FOR PERSONAL CARETAKER

Provide companionship during daily acivities and early evening social time

Prepare and serve meals. Clean up.

Occasionally host company for meals and do clean up.

Drive Mom weekly to Las Vegas, NM (30 minutes) for appointments and groceries. About once a month, drive her to Albuquerque (about 2 1/2 hours) for appointments.Assist with the shopping etc.

Fill medications and assist with administration (e.g., eye drops, topical ointments)

Assist with personal administrative details (the computer, bill paying, calendaring events and household organizarion)

MAIN DUTIES FOR ANIMAL CARE, POOL AND GARDEN CARE AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE  

Provide companionship, particularly during the early evening hours

Water, plant, weed and tend to gardens, appletrees ad green house plants.Provide basic maintenance on indoor swimming pool.

Care for and walk dogs,twice daily

Basic home maintenance

Manage basic service of autos and garden equipment

Keep tools ad machinery neat, clean and put away

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

The ideal couple will have a good sense of humor, be interested in current events and sports, and appreciate nature.

Must speak English as a first language

CPR certification required before start date

Valid drivers licence and willingness to undergo background checks

Reasonably physically fit

Nursing experience is not mandatory but is desireable

Regular housekeeping is provided by others and is not required; however special projects are requested (e.g. dusting beams, cleaning pool room floor, and touch up of guest cottage).

OTHER TERMS

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualificatioins.

Housing is provided, including utilites and Dish satellite receiver

5 work days weekly, with availibility to assist with unusual needs after hours. Mondays andTuesdays are the days off.  

Two weeks paid vacation (one week at a time) beginning one full year after employment.

Private Household located in Potomac Maryland seeks an experienced domestic couple to live in for a long term commitment.  

The ideal candidates will have several years experiences working in a large home where discretion, loyalty, thoroughness and honesty are required. These two individuals will work as a team maintaining a level of communication between the employer and the couple. This couple will be able to handle the duties between indoor and outdoor job responsibilities.  This position will be one where the principals are looking for a extraordinarily satisfying arrangement lasting many years.

The schedule is Monday through Friday to live in the property. You may live in on the weekends if needed.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Full Charge of the Household
• Cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and polishing.
