 We are seeking for the 2017 recreation season both volunteer recreation area host and volunteer camp host positions. Both positions offer the opportunity to work with the public, provide customer service, support your federal lands, meet new people, make new friends and enjoy the rustic beauty found only in middle Tennessee.

The duties vary depending on the position. An individual campsite with hookups located with a beautiful lake view will be provided along with training and support as necessary.  Volunteers will work no more than 20 hours a week but may involve weekends and summer holidays. Preference is given to those volunteers who chose to be with us the entire open season. Volunteers may also be subject to a background check. 

Our Lake is a beautiful crystal clear lake surrounded by forested hillsides and is known for a variety of water and land based recreation including fishing, boating, and camping just to name a few. We also lay claim to the world record small mouth bass.We are centrally located about a 2 hour drive from Lexington, KY and Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, TN

MOTEL REMODELER/MANAGER - Tucumcari, NM

This is a unique opportunity for a working couple with construction experience and management skills.  

I own a 25-unit motel on route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. This property has a great location but is in need of substantial remodeling.   It has been closed for several years.   You will be in-charge of the remodeling effort doing quite a bit of work yourself.   You will be paid a salary plus 25% ownership once completed and opened for business.   My property management experience will allow you to earn a nice income providing you with permanent work as well as a free apartment and all utilities paid.

Year round RV Park located in Southern Indiana seeking retired couple for full time host position for a family owned 35 acre park in a quiet country setting that is only minutes from shopping and restaurants. Customer service base is both short term and monthly utilizing 80 sites.This position requires a friendly personable couple with outstanding customer service skills, who are trustworthy, loyal and posses a positive attitude.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Office reception (answering telephone, providing park information, scheduling reservations, check-ins , receiving and recording payments, and general customer service)
• Ability to resolve conflict in a calm, friendly manner
• Checking grounds and keeping park tidy
• Monitoring sites for problems
• Light handy work (simple fixes)
• Flexible hours
• Must live onsite with an RV no older than 15 years old.

FHU site provided as part of compensation package.

We are seeking RV Campground Host / Bartender. We are located in Baker, Nevada. Just 5 miles outside of Great Basin National Park. Looking for someone to work the full season, April 1, 2017 -October 31, 2017, hosting an RV Park, campground, 6 room motel, and afternoon/evening bar.

Schedule is flexible ,working side by side with the managers.

Campground duties include greeting and checking in visitors, yard work/property maintenance, bathroom cleaning, etc.

Bar opens 4pm daily and closes depending on crowd. Must be able and willing to push a lawn mower, clean bathrooms, Adopt A high way and clean bar at end of shift.

Must be personable. No prior bar tending skills needed as these will and can be taught.

This is not primarily a bar tending job but must be willing to put in late hours on busy nights. Must be capable of working independently within your scheduled shift. Job comes with free hook-ups (7 days a week) to your RV, wifi, salary, and tips from bar.

Nearest main grocery store is 1 hours drive so secondary vehicle is needed.

Consisting of 11 rooms and 19 RV spaces and situated on 10 acres with unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains, we enjoy a relaxed work environment with a friendly staff, and a small town atmosphere. We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals interested in either part time positions in exchange for their site, or full time with site and pay. Pay rate is $9.00/hr for all hours worked.
