Domestic Couple - Cannes, France

A presentable, pro-active and flexible domestic couple with superb cooking skills is required to work in a beautiful modern villa located in Cannes, the south of France.
The 600 m2 villa is situated on 2 floors and a terrace and consists of 4 bedrooms, an office and a professional kitchen. There is also a separate 44m2-flat which may be provided to the employees.

The family stay in the house around five months per year, the busiest period is from May to September; there are also occasional visits at weekends throughout the year.

Ideally, the candidates would work full time the summer seasons (May-September) and keep the house clean when the Principals and guests are away. The candidates will have to be flexible and available to work during occasional family visits in the off-season. This way the position would be full-time during the summer seasons and part-time during the off-season. In season a cleaning/ironing lady will come as needed.
 
The position may be either live-in or live-out. If live-out, the candidates must live close by. There is a handyman/driver currently employed in the property, and additional personnel may be brought into the house during the peak summer season.

Duties and Responsibilities for a Domestic Couple 

• Cooking to a high standard (French, Chinese and Italian cuisines)

• Paperwork & administrative duties (MOT for cars, making sure all invoices are paid, etc)
• Regular reporting to the owners
• Helping with laundry and ironing in the summer

• Chauffeur duties

We would need at least a TWO PERSON TEAM for this position. We currently have member(s) of the team in place that are in charge of cleaning some of the rooms and also does laundry for those rooms. We need managers for the motel that have basic accounting and computer skills. Managers that can cater to motel guests and managers that have people skills and not strong arm tactics in dealing with our "Guests", remember that the "Guests" are who pay the bills.

Basic maintenance skills needed for this position but not limited to are as follows: sheetrock repair, knockdown finishing, painting, pressure washing, mowing the lawn, spraying for insects (inside and outside), septic and drain clearing, minor plumbing (faucets leaking and need changed, toilet seals, etc.) and electrical knowledge is a plus. You will be asked to perform some of these tasks before you are hired to ensure you are qualified in these skills.

We require a good working history. A full background check will be conducted prior to employment. This caretaker position requires checking in shooters, some office work and light maintenance, snow removal, garbage removal, sweeping and keeping the place orderly. It is well suited for a retired couple. The range is open Wednesday-Sunday so Monday and Tuesday are the caretaker's days off.

Innkeepers Wanted –  to manage a totally romantic 14 room Inn, located in Cripple Creek, Colorado, Elevation 9500 Feet0.  The Inn Keepers Quarters is delightful. The Inn has full housekeeping help.

You would be responsible for reservations, e-mails, phones, guest services, breakfast, marketing, checking in and checking out guests, setting up continental breakfast weekdays and full served breakfast on the weekends.

Supervising cleaning staff, maintaining the building/facility in good conditions, guest hospitality, processing payment transactions, running daily, monthly reports, verifying commissions, managing petty cash, doing minor maintenance and any other duties deemed critical to efficiently managing the Inn.

One to two days off either every week or every other week depending on relief help. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.   

Maintenance, Reception, Housekeeping - Vidalia, LA

We welcome all Workampers! Our open positions usually include Reservations/Clerical which will be answering multi phone system, making reservations, posting payments and processing end of day paperwork.  Maintenance handles minor electrical (e.g. changing of breakers, trouble shooting, etc.), some plumbing, lawn care, and minor carpentry where needed. Other duties will include pool and hot tub maintenance, care of sites, and other maintenance detail. Housekeeping will be responsible in the care of the main buildings cleaning, such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, etc. You will also help maintain on site restrooms, cottages and rental trailers.

The great thing is that in exchange of your 20 hours per week you will receive a full hookup site, free use of laundry facilities, free internet with a great view and access to the  Riverfront.
