Enjoy the Beautiful Black Hills this Summer - Deadwood, SD

Our Campground is located 6 miles south of Deadwood SD, in the beautiful Northern Black Hills. We are a small, scenic, friendly park on Bear Butte Creek, with 11 RV sites, 8 sleeping cabins, and 2 rental RVs. On your time off, you will be able to take advantage of all there is to see and do in the Black Hills; in addition to the sightseeing, we have miles and miles of off-road trails nearby for riding ATVs, the Mickelson Trail for hiking, and Deadwood for history, casinos, special events, and dining.

We are looking for a couple to work between now and September 15th, in exchange for a FHU site with a level, concrete pad, 30/50 amp electric, and free laundry facilities. As a couple, you would work together, on a 3 days on, 3 days off schedule.

Duties include excellent customer service: greeting and checking in guests, taking reservations by phone and email (computer skills required), and providing area information; as well as maintenance: mowing, trimming, cabin and restroom cleaning, and any other tasks involved in campground management. The cabins are quick and easy to clean, having no bedding, kitchens, etc. but the job does require you to be physically fit.

Non-smokers are greatly appreciated, as our office and cabins are smoke-free. Prefer someone with mechanical and electrical knowledge.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Assistant Innkeeping Couple - Fredericksburg, TX

AAA Four Diamond inn in the Texas hill country is looking for a couple for long term assistant innkeeper positions to hopefully evolve into becoming the main innkeepers.  This is a live on-site permanent, full-time, year-round position. 

One person would primarily be a handyman/painter/construction person  who would help to remodel, paint, fix things, do mowing, etc. - whatever comes up.  The other person would primarily do front desk, waiting on guests at breakfast, checkins, supervising some staff, getting rooms ready for checkin - whatever comes up. 

We are a very busy place, so we need persons who are in great physical shape and able to work hard and fast for their shift.  You wouldn't necessarily work the same shifts, but you would usually have one or two days per week off together. 

We have a one bedroom apartment included as part of the compensation, in addition to an hourly rate.   We're looking for non-smokers, with no substance abuse issues and no significant criminal history.  You would get to live in an areas that has great weather much of the year, is very low crime, and you wouldn't have a commute!  Send resumes via email.
