Job Title: Resident Campground Host
THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE! TWO 1-MONTH and ONE 3-MONTH POSITIONS.
Project Duration: 4-12 weeks. Minimum 24 hours per week. (3 days on, 3 days off rotating schedule).
Description of Duties: Campground hosts will be required to provide public relations and general park information. Monitor activities in the campground; notify park staff when action is needed. Maintain campground facilities and sites to Florida Park Service standards set by the Park Manager. Work on special projects as designated by management.
Benefits to Volunteer: Personal enrichment and experience working in a state park, sense of purpose and being part of a team. Receive a camp site at beautiful beach park, with electric, water and sewer at no charge. Two 50 amp sites and one 30 amp sites available at this time.
Goal/Outcome of Job: Provide professional services to park visitors by maintaining clean and safe campsites, grills, restrooms, and walking paths.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Desired: No particular knowledge or experience required, however knowledge of the Florida Park System, and/or experience as a Camp Host is desired. Skill in maintaining clean facilities, following through with assignments, and communicating effectively to park visitor, park staff, and park management. Training will be provided at orientation of specific job duties.
Special Requirements: Volunteer Uniform must be worn when on duty as per Florida Park Service Standards, which can be found in the Volunteer handbook. Minimal negative discussion amongst fellow camp hosts, visitors, and park staff that could potentially damage the reputation of the park or the Florida Park Service is required. Issues are to be resolved and discussed with park management as soon as, or if a problem arises. Must be willing to accommodate schedule changes at management’s discretion. Must follow all rules and regulations in the Florida State Park Volunteer Handbook and as discussed at orientation.

Follow-up to these notices is a BIG factor in having tenants comply and be happy at the same time. Be responsible for petty cash, bank deposits, rental agreements, etc. Knowledge of the local laws governing self storage facilities and the rules established at our facility are important. Off-site Corporate Management assists with these as well as working with attorneys if need be.
Maintenance is important and the person we consider will need a working understanding of electrical, plumbing, and basic maintenance. Attend meetings to keep current on up-dates and to enhance one's own job performance.

Live In Caregiver Couple or Team - Ventura County, CA

Live-in Caregiver Couple needed to care for Quadriplegic man and also offer minimal assistance for his elderly mother-in-law. The position offers some flexibility with schedules, as long as someone is available most of the time.
Responsibility is mainly to provide care for the paralyzed man who suffered a catastrophic medical injury over 6 years ago. He is G-tube dependant, and has a suprapubic catheter. Caregiver must provide administration of medicine, feeding, bathing, transferring (approx. weight 150 lbs), personal hygiene, positioning, range of motion exercises, accompanying patient to medical and therapy appointments. Despite his pain and physical limitations, patient is very verbal and highly intelligent. He rides in a power wheelchair and has a wheelchair accessible van for transportation. No driving is required. Knowledge of spinal cord injury an advantage, but not necessary. Wife will train the right person in all areas of care.
The elderly mother-in-law requires assistance with bathing and dressing. She uses a walker. No dementia, but hard of hearing. Other duties would be houskeeping, laundry and assistance with meal prep, but no shopping or actual cooking.
The home is located in a lovely residential area that offers an ideal climate, with public transportation nearby. The family will provide a private room and full bath, meals,furniture, linens, utilities, cable TV and WiFi. Salary negotiable. Wife will be present to manage all aspects of care and household duties.
Must have excellent references, resume, and be able to pass background check.
Host for a small rural Campground - Marble Falls, TX

The Campground is located in an off road vehicle park.

Duties include greeting guests as they arrive and staying in touch with them to address any problems. Chores include cleaning bathrooms, mowing and trimming, watering trees, picking up trash, and enforcing speed limits and quiet hours in the campground.
Reading a water meter weekly and adding bleach to a chlorinator as needed is required. A few electric meters need to be read each month. Must be at the campground Friday through Sunday. Retired preferred. One person or a couple. No handling of payments or any money. A free parking spot for your RV is provided. WiFi is provided. Position available immediately.
